This was the moment the clock struck midnight in my town of Balneário Rincão at my grandpa's home.
Lots of fireworks, lots of people vacationing in town and lots of fun.
This new year's will be one to remember!
We drank a lot, we ate some bbq, and some family I hadn't seen in over a year was there.
It was really nice. Having Ana and my other friends over was also really sweet.

2025 has barely just started and we're already having tons of fun. It's undeniable that I'm feeling very optimistic for this year and I think it'll be a good one.
Sure, it's a bit silly to take any conclusions from the first few days, but you know, I just have a good feeling about it.
After the new year's me and my family have travelled to my aunt's lake house in Imbituba, and while I don't really like being away from home for extended periods of time, I think it'll be good to be here.
It's a quaint little house in a quaint little corner of Santa Catarina, not much goes on in here and that's great. It's far away from the hustle and bustle that Balneário Rincão goes through this time of year.
However, as fun as it is to play snooker and chill out near the lake, I can't wait to go home and see my friends since they're all in their vacation at this time of year.
I wanna play videogames, walk along the beach, drink beer with them, just have fun in general... But I guess I can put that off for some days to spend sometime with family.
Anyways, I hope everyone's got that same optimistic feeling about 2025.
Something about this year seems off, and "off" for me means 'not awful'.
