Today I want to share with you the experience of my last class on Bitcoin... I was very excited and with great expectations, because the previous classes had been a great learning experience for me.
From the beginning this class was characterized by the humor, dynamism and professionalism with which Professor Aníbal always develops it. Guiding us from the most basic concepts to the most practical points (without forgetting the more advanced tools).
One of these concepts, which for me is of utmost importance, is the topic of security. We were reminded how vital it is to be able to keep our private keys safe, through the use of different tools, but this time the emphasis was on hardware wallets. Which for me are technological marvels, because they allow us to be the sole owners of our funds (something that, for me, provides great peace of mind in relation to software wallets).
We were also able to learn about Bitcoin explorers, which are nothing more than digital tools (sites) that allow us to track transactions on the Blockchain, so we can understand how the network works. So in this way we can be a kind of financial detectives haha, since we will be able to track the cryptocurrencies that enter or leave our wallet.
Likewise, P2P (peer-to-peer) exchange was a topic that we saw and of great interest to me (as I currently use them very frequently). Here we learned that these are not only useful for buying and selling bitcoins in "centralized exchanges" but also allow us to make those transactions with other people and best of all, without intermediaries (thus allowing us to take control of our finances).
But... How can we earn Bitcoin?
Well, in this class we were taught that this is possible if we work with tools or sites that have this type of rewards (however, the income is not extremely high, it is more like a type of passive income).
We were also told that for all the people who have little experience in crypto and are looking for less intermediaries in their purchases, exchanges are still a viable option, however, we were warned about the dangers of trading and speculation, because both activities should only be performed by people with knowledge of the market (to avoid losing our resources).
A point that I also liked a lot was the explanation of the digital tools that allow us to find, from businesses that accept bitcoins (BTC Map) to ideal platforms to buy products or services with this cryptocurrency (Bitrefill and LnP2PBot).
And to end this wonderful class, I was able to receive three recommendations of the highest value:
The first one (beyond the obvious), was to never invest in markets or projects that we do not understand. Therefore, being cautious, researching and learning will always be key to avoid bad times due to bad financial decisions.
The second is that we were recommended to always analyze the "alternatives" to bitcoin (also known as altcoins) and that it will always be better to be cautious with them, to focus on the main cryptocurrencies (by market capitalization).
And last but not least, if we find ourselves looking for a safe and effective strategy, Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA), is an excellent option, as it is a strategy that is based on buying bitcoins periodically for savings, without having a FIAT mentality (relating the value of cryptocurrencies to the value of the dollar or other type of FIAT). So regardless of their price, we will be able to mitigate those risks that other currencies generate to take advantage of market drops and thus accumulate more Satoshis (bitcoins).
Likewise, we were encouraged to use more of this cryptocurrency in our day-to-day purchases to further incentivize creating a positive flow in the market and contribute to its widespread rise/adoption.
And as the previous two classes always closed with something delicious, this one could not be the exception. So before the end we were able to enjoy a delicious snack. This time, instead of tequeños, there were meat and chicken pastries (and I confess that my favorite were the chicken ones, but I had to ask for the recipe haha).
Definitely, there were three classes with a very well defined logistics so that we could all learn and enjoy a moment full of knowledge about this fascinating world...

Hoy quiero compartirte la experiencia de mi última clase sobre Bitcoin… Estaba muy emocionada y con grandes expectativas, porque las anteriores clases habían sido de gran aprendizaje para mí.
Desde un principio esta clase se caracterizó por el humor, dinamismo y profesionalismo con el que el profesor Aníbal siempre la desarrolla. Guiándonos desde de los conceptos más básicos hasta los puntos más prácticos (sin olvidarme de las herramientas ya más avanzadas).
Uno de esos conceptos y que para mí son de suma importancia, es el tema de la seguridad. Ya que se nos recordó lo vital que es poder mantener nuestras claves privadas seguras, mediante el uso de diferentes herramientas, pero en esta ocasión se hizo énfasis en los hardware wallets. Que para mí son maravillas tecnológicas, porque nos permiten ser los únicos dueños de nuestros fondos (algo que, para mí, brinda una gran tranquilidad con relación a los software wallets).
También pudimos aprender sobre los exploradores de Bitcoin, que no son más que herramientas digitales (sites) que nos permiten poder rastrear transacciones de la Blockchain, para así poder comprender el funcionamiento de la red. Por lo que de esta manera podremos ser una especie de detectives financieros jaja, ya que estaremos en la capacidad de rastrear las criptomonedas que entren o salgan de nuestra billetera.
Igualmente, el intercambio P2P (entre pares) fue un tema que vimos y de gran interés para mí (ya que actualmente las utilizo con mucha frecuencia). Aquí aprendimos a que estas no solo son útiles para comprar y vender bitcoins en “exchanges centralizados” sino que también nos permite realizar esas transacciones con otras personas y lo mejor de todo, sin intermediarios (permitiéndonos así tomar el control de nuestras finanzas).
Pero... ¿Cómo podemos ganar Bitcoin?
Pues en esta clase nos enseñaron que esto es posible si trabajamos con herramientas o en sites que posean este tipo de recompensas (sin embargo, los ingresos no son sumamente altos, son más como un tipo de ingreso pasivo).
Así mismo se nos indicó que para todas las personas que tengan poca experiencia en la materia cripto y que estén buscando menos intermediarios en sus compras, los exchanges siguen siendo una opción viable, sin embargo, se nos advirtió sobre los peligros que conlleva el trading y la especulación, porque ambas actividades solo deberían de ser realizadas por personas con conocimiento del mercado (para así evitar perder nuestros recursos).
Un punto que me gustó mucho también fue la explicación de las herramientas digitales que nos permiten encontrar, desde negocios que aceptan bitcoins (BTC Map) hasta plataformas ideales para comprar productos o servicios con esta criptomoneda (Bitrefill y LnP2PBot).
Y para finalizar esta maravillosa clase, pude recibir tres recomendaciones de altísimo valor:
El primero (más allá de lo obvio), fue que nunca invirtamos en mercados o proyectos que no comprendamos. Por lo que ser cautelosos, investigar y aprender siempre será clave para no llevarnos malos ratos a causa de malas decisiones financieras.
El segundo, es que se nos recomendó analizar siempre las “alternativas” al bitcoin (conocidas también como altcoins) y que siempre será mejor ser cautelosos con ellas, para enfocarnos en las principales criptomonedas (por capitalización de mercado).
Y por última, pero no menos importante, si nos encontramos buscando una estrategia segura y efectiva, el “Dollar Cost Averaging” (DCA), es una excelente opción, ya que es una estrategia que se basa en comprar bitcoins de forma periódica para el ahorro, sin tener una mentalidad FIAT (relacionando el valor de las criptomonedas al valor del dólar u otro tipo de FIAT). Por lo que independientemente de su precio, podremos mitigar esos riesgos que otras monedas generan para aprovechar las caídas del mercado y así acumular más Satoshis (bitcoins).
Igualmente, se nos incentivó a utilizar más esta criptomoneda en nuestras compras del día a día para incentivar aún más el crear un flujo positivo en el mercado y contribuir a su alza/adopción generalizada.
Y como las anteriores dos clases siempre cerraban con algo delicioso, esta no podía ser la excepción. Por lo que antes de finalizar pudimos disfrutar de un rico refrigerio. Esta vez, en vez de tequeños, había pastelitos de carne y pollo (y te confieso que mis favoritos fueron los de pollo, pero me faltó pedir la receta jaja).
Definitivamente, fueron tres clases con una logística muy bien definida para que todos pudiésemos aprender y disfrutar de un momento lleno de conocimientos sobre este fascinante mundo...
La culminación de un viaje, pero, si seguimos aprendiendo y accionando:
