Hello @dailyblog (gers) its really exciting a very joyful for me to share with you all what i consider the top of my career, to participate in the nysc programme this year is a huge success and a major mile stone in my country.
The Nysc meaning National service corps is a compulsory one national service mandatory for all fresh graduate in my country Nigeria, a strategic move by the federal government of Nigeria, to Reconcilrle, rehabilate and reconstruct a broken country torn apart by civil wars, ethnic diversity. Tribalism etc, it is meant to reunite all section of the country together as one through the youth which are the future of the country, the nysc programme is meant to strategically imbibe into the youth the national spirit of togetherness, oneness, from different tribe and cultural or religious background.
On the other hand it is a symbol of the peak of Academic success of any fresh graduate from all high institution in the country, meaning for any one to attain this level means a lot and a special regards, respect national insurance, provision and protection is assure to all who are qualified.
It is a programme that will run for one year, begining with a three weeks regimented camp training called National orientation course, after that there is a National Primary Assignment that all corps members are expected to carry out, by serving in local Communities to which they have been posted to, Development service (CDS), Secondary assignment and finally passing out ceremony
The reason i'm particularly grateful for this opportunity is that its will open greater doors to many opportunities for me to launch my personal brand and foster a strategic tool for all my dreams and aspiration
The orientation course scheduled for three weeks within the regimented camp are packed up with rigorous paramilitary drills and parade that covers all day specifically morning, noon and evening drills with intermediate meal time such as Morning, noon and evening meals with some special gatherings during late evening.
Apart from all that they are special units or departments any copper can voluntarily opt to join at will, such as OBS, Man O' War, Band, etc...lots of others too, these units are to help foster collaborative effort from intending corps members to enhance their skills set or any area of interest to also use that to contribute to the development and growth of the camp.
