You know how when you start your day and you just get this feeling that things might not go well but it ends up going well in the end? That’s exactly what I experienced today. It’s the first day of the week and as usual, I always go to my place of worship which I woke up as early as 6am to prepare for since we usually start by 7am. For the first time in a while, we arrived early and it was really nice. At first, things were going really well until I got back from church and my dad told us we will be going out for an opening ceremony of a hotel.
I wasn’t sure what to expect at the opening ceremony but I didn’t feel good about it but then, my dad wanted everyone to go for it so I had no choice but to prepare myself to go with him. My dad has a Trike which we used to journey to the venue. When we got there, we met some of his co-workers and as usual we had to do some greetings. We stole some time to also take some pictures before the event kicks off since we got there a little bit early.

After a very long wait, all we could get was bottle water when we were expecting good food. There was food but then, there were more guests than was prepared for. I was sad about it because I thought I’d eat a lot because I intentionally didn’t eat before leaving the house. Well, I asked my dad to please round up with things there so we could go home and eat. On our way out, my dad stopped again to greet someone so I asked my siblings that we should go inside the hotel to see how it looks on the inside and I was really happy I did!

All my sadness vanished away the moment I stepped in. The place was really nice and comfy. There were so many art galleries on the wall and I literally went around to take a picture of all of them, hehe. Just looking at how beautiful the interior was, I felt satisfied and happy that I came after all. Seeing how beautiful the place was, I thought about just going to lounge there which I have never thought about before. The building is really big and it makes use of elevators. I didn’t get to use the elevator because it was still not set yet. Although I saw the men who were in charge of it trying to make it start working.
My day was quite eventful more than I thought it would be and I’m so happy I went with my dad to the hotel opening ceremony even though at first I felt like it was a wrong idea. I have over 50 images on my phone that I took at the hotel but I’d share a few of them today and share the others in subsequent posts.
