Some sunsets are colorful, but some times it's gray but both could be beautiful and both signals rest after a hard day's work.
The sunsets above were taken on December 7, 2023 from my workplace. I have been always excited about sunsets but sometimes I can't witness and take memorabilia of them because I get consumed by my work.
Observing sunsets make me ponder how well I did for the day and some other things would come randomly.
At this time, I've come to ponder that sometimes, sunsets come very early that it usually does, sometimes it could be a bit late too just like in life.
Recently, I've learned about a friend, she was still a teen and my husband told me about tgatbsad news that she's now in a hospital, very ill, and weak because some of her injuries when she was hit by a car when she was still 3 years old had taken effect on her body.
She frequently had headache, and when diagnosed, she had undergone head surgery. Her once long hair was shaved clean and was told here's little chance for her but she was a fighter and was holding on to life. I know what she's been through is not easy, her family is struggling for finances too, and we all are.
The sad news had me thinking all night about how hard life could be and told my children to be very careful especially on the road because it really hurts when they will be in pain and it's not eaay to suffer from it.
Now all I could do was pray for her recovery. We really don't know how long each of our lives on Earth will be, the same as we don't know when our sunsets in life will be or be it colorful or gray.
One thing for sure it's God that decides it all and let us all ask Him we have a colorful one.
