The day started early at four in the morning as I haven't slept well. I guess my mind was trying to be alert just in case my sister in law would call. Today is the flight of my sister in law husband going back abroad and since they would send him to the airport, I asked if they could drop by. Not to visit me but let them bring some of my personal stuff since they bought a car. Only two months left and I will be filing my maternity leave that might lead to my resignation. Staying here for the past seven years, indeed I had a lot of stuff. Though I brought home a lot, I think that only a half of it.
Yesterday, I spent the time segregating my clothes, which one I could still use until my 3rd trimester and which one I don't. Folded and placed it all in a storage box.
They are still supposed to be packed yet I got tired. My thighs hurt and it was hard to bend from time to time. Currently in the 24th week physical movements started to become more challenging. As of this writing, I felt it was hard to climb up the stairs due to reasons I mentioned above. Think it's a pregnancy thing but still would ask my OB-gyne next week. Not only that but sudden pain on the right side of my buttock down strikes from time to time 😰. It made me almost lose my balance! Weew! Now I really admire all mothers out there for enduring all the pain while growing the babies in their stomach. It wasn't a joke nor easy!
Since yesterday felt tiring, I went out to look for snacks. Perfect timing as there are banana cue still hot, freshly cooked for sale.
This is made with ripe banana (saba) deep fried with brown sugar till it is caramelized. Not sure if this is available in other countries but this is one of the well known merienda in the Philippines.
The sun is still striking hot so I also bought a mango shake. I know, I was supposed to slow down, especially because I had a glucose test this week, yet can't help it.
Going back to transporting my personal stuff, my sister in law left around 6:30 so I was almost an hour late for my daily routine at work. Since it was Monday morning as expected it was kinda hard to catch a ride plus traffic. Fifteen minutes late 🤣.
Before I started working, I got all the candies I bought the other day. My candy jar was already empty. Told yeah, my officemates love stealing some of it's stocks 😂. Kidding, I offered them of course.
LOved seeing it full again and didn't know till when it would last. Haa! Surely they would miss me.
Turning on my CPU on the right this is what you can see 😂. A lot of boxes contain our Store and outlets Books of account and Sales Invoice. I still need to open those, scan the entries and ensure it's complete before sending it to our external auditor. This is for submission to the BIR (Bureau of Internal Revenue) branch of our government that handles Taxes. This in compliance with the received Letter of Authority (LOA) from them for the year 2023.
It was supposed to be scheduled last Saturday but I got busy validating incentives requests from the Sales group so I didn't manage. Currently, the owner and Board of directors agreed to add another line of business (with new incentives scheme.) which makes me busy.
Currently from 150 stores and outlets nationwide, we still have 51 still in operation. Yeah, sudden closure was disheartening, thanks to Covid. However, I admired the owners for trying their best to revive the sales.
It may result from me being busy these past weeks as I need to settle the business permit both in respective municipalities per branch and BIR RDO's. Which is urgent 😁. Well, I am used to it as the CEO and COO had that attitude of okay, they wanted this project to be launched ASAP. The Sales Team will campaign and us Operation and Finance was in rush accomplishing what needed per department or else? You know what happens when the King and Queen get mad right? You surely wouldn't like it.
Hello Hivers! Happy Monday, hope you had a great day to start the week.
