Hello friends of this Daily Blog community, this is the first time I dare to write to you here, although I have exchanged with many of you through your publications. I want to share with you a very nice experience I enjoyed while shopping.
Recently, I went out to buy food for my house and I went to a fair that takes place every Saturday in a very central park that is on Linea, between K and L streets, in Vedado, Havana. In this fair you can find a great variety of things, there is food, clothes, household items, in short, anything you can buy there.
The sales kiosks are distributed under the shade of trees because the sun and heat is very strong in this season and almost all year round, so it is said that our country is an eternal summer.

Hola amigos de esta comunidad Daily Blog, es primera vez que me animo a escribirles por acá, aunque sí he intercambiado con muchos de ustedes a través de sus publicaciones. Quiero compartirles una experiencia muy bonita que disfruté mientras hacía mis compras.
Recientemente, salí a comprar alimentos para mi casa y me dirigí a una feria que realizan todos los sábados en un parque muy céntrico que está en Línea, entre las calles K y L, en el Vedado habanero. En esta feria se puede encontrar gran variedad de cosas, hay alimentos, ropa, útiles del hogar, en fin, cualquier cosa se puede adquirir ahí.
Los quioscos de ventas se distribuyen bajo la sombra de los árboles debido a que el sol y el calor es muy fuerte en esta temporada y durante casi todo el año, por eso se dice que nuestro país es un eterno verano.
This time what I needed were vegetables and fruits, I decided for bananas that were beautiful, carrots, garlic and chives that I can't miss to spice up my meals.
En esta ocasión lo que necesitaba eran verduras y frutas, me decidí por los plátanos que estaban hermosos, zanahorias, ajo y cebollino que no me pueden faltar para condimentar las comidas.
In previous occasions I went early, around 8 am to do my shopping in the cool of the morning because after the sun starts to heat up very strong and I prefer to be at home with my homework already done. But for other reasons I went out later and when I arrived at the park I found a great surprise, there was an activity with clowns for children and for all those who want to participate because it is outdoors and totally free.
I was happy to see the Blue Clown because when my son was little I used to see him perform in theaters and it has been almost 3 decades, he is still very active and charismatic and makes the children have fun with his performance.
En ocasiones anteriores yo iba bien temprano, alrededor de las 8 am para realizar las compras con el frescor de la mañana porque después el sol comienza a calentar bien fuerte y prefiero estar en la casa con la tarea ya cumplida. Pero por otras razones salí más tarde y al llegar al parque me encontré una gran sorpresa, había una actividad con payasos para los niños y para todos los que quieran participar porque es al aire libre y totalmente gratuito.
Me dio alegría ver al Payaso Azul porque cuando mi hijo era pequeño lo veía actuar en los teatros y ya han pasado casi 3 décadas, sigue siendo muy activo y carismático y hace divertir a los niños con su actuación.
There was also the prestigious Ana Nora Calaza, a great actress of children's programs on Cuban television, who came accompanied by her puppets, imagine that when I was a child I used to watch the puppet shows where she gave them voice.
I was very happy to see her acting in person, she has a great vocal quality and great histrionics, she made me go back in time, but only for a few moments haha.
También estaba la prestigiosa Ana Nora Calaza, una gran actriz de programas infantiles de la televisión cubana, que venía acompañada de sus títeres, imagínense que cuando yo era niña veía los programas de títeres donde ella les ponía voz.
Me dio mucho gusto verla en persona actuando, tiene una gran calidad vocal y gran histrionismo, me hizo retroceder en el tiempo, pero por solo unos instantes jaja.
A couple of very colorful clowns also animated the activity, with puppets, dancing, singing and playing participation games with the children.
We all had a lot of fun, because no matter how old we are, we always have a child inside us.
Una pareja de payasos muy coloridos también animó la actividad, con títeres, bailando, cantando y haciendo juegos de participación con los niños.
Todos nos divertimos mucho, porque no importa la edad que tengamos, siempre tenemos un niño en nuestro interior.
It is a very good idea to have these outdoor performances at the fairs because parents can take advantage of the time to shop and at the same time enjoy the children's activities together.
Es muy buena idea de hacer estas funciones al aire libre en las ferias porque los padres pueden aprovechar el tiempo de hacer las compras y a la vez disfrutar todos juntos las actividades infantiles.
Being at Hive has taught me to take a close look at my surroundings and inquire about the history of places to share with everyone. For this reason, I approached the monument that is located at the end of the park on K Street, it is a work made of white marble that on its plaque describes that it is dedicated to the agronomist and publicist Francisco de Frias y Jacott, Count of Pozos Dulces, who was the creator of the layout and founder of the Vedado neighborhood in the eighteenth century.
It is very pleasant to know the reason of things; to know the history of the places we visit makes us be part of them.
I hope you liked this beautiful experience and that it reminded you of your moments of enjoyment in children's activities, it awakened my inner child and I enjoyed a very pleasant moment.

Estar en Hive me ha enseñado a observar con detenimiento lo que me rodea e indagar sobre la historia de los lugares para compartirla con todos. Por este motivo, me acerqué al monumento que está situado en el extremo del parque por la calle K, es una obra hecha con mármol blanco que en su tarja se describe que está dedicado al agrónomo y publicista Francisco de Frias y Jacott, conde de Pozos Dulces, quien fue el creador del trazado y fundador del barrio del Vedado en el siglo XVIII.
Es muy agradable conocer el porqué de las cosas, saber la historia de los lugares que visitamos nos hace ser parte de los mismos.
Es mi deseo que les haya gustado esta experiencia hermosa y que les haya recordado sus momentos de disfrute en las actividades infantiles, a mí me despertó mi niña interior y disfruté de un momento muy agradable.
