Experienced accident at work

Hello amazing people of hive
I trust everyone is doing amazingly great.
Happy Sunday to you all.

I'm doing okay though still feeling pains though.

If there's something i dislike doing is going ro work on Sunday.
Working from Monday to Saturday is enough reason to take a rest on Sunday but too bad i still had to work on Sunday.

Its was a stressful and a great day for me and everything was going perfectly well. Work was hectic as always.

I was with my helmet when a friend of mine plea for me to give it to him that he cant find his and he ready need it for work.
I innocently handded over to him with the mindset that its isn't that important in the work i'm doing. I forgot that as an engineer i have to protect myself always, safety come first.

After i was done with the work i wass doing, i stood up to work out and i accidentally heat my head on a sharp iron that was ontop of where i was working. It was so hard and painful, blood was coming out, a lots of blood. At that moment i know say i fucked up.

A senior colleague who saw what happened rush out to me and work me to his office. Where i was given injection and the wood was taken care of. I still feel pains from where i was given the injection.
My senior colleague try his best to hide the incident from the big authorities to avoid being query by them. How did i go to site without an helmet?

This is the mistake i make giving my helmet to someone else and i have learn my lesson very well cause i believe my helmet would have protected me from the accident and i wouldn't be feeling this pains now.
I have to protect myself next time and always be safe at work to avoid this taking place again.

Thank you for stopping by and your support 🥂
