Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend.
Mine was very good with my family and resolving a pending issue we had.
Since the beginning of the weekend, we have been looking for some tires that we needed, and that kept us quite busy, going from one place to another. However, we were not very successful in our search, so we decided to leave it until Monday.
Early Sunday, my husband and I went out to the market, I like doing this activity with him and being able to take pictures of the scenery and surroundings around us.

El mío fue muy bueno en compañía de mi familia y resolviendo un pendiente que teníamos.
Desde que comenzó el fin de semana, nos dedicamos a la búsqueda de unos cauchos que necesitábamos, y eso nos mantuvo bastante ocupados, yendo de un lado a otro. Sin embargo, no tuvimos mucho éxito en nuestra búsqueda, así que decidimos dejarlo para el lunes.
El domingo temprano, salimos mi esposo y yo al mercado, me gusta hacer esta actividad con el y poder tomar fotos de los paisajes y entornos que nos rodean.
We go out to buy a few things for the week and food for our pets. That is something we do every week so they can eat fresh food and not get sick. That is why we always go to the same place which is the Sigo market, we are already regular customers of this butcher's shop, Mr. Alfredo already knows us and he always arranges everything for us in a very convenient way.
Salimos a comprar algunas cosas para la semana y la comida de nuestras mascotas. Eso es algo que hacemos todas las semanas para que puedan comer comida fresca y no se enfermen. Por eso siempre vamos al mismo lugar que es el mercado de Sigo ya somos clientes regulares de esta carnicería, el señor Alfredo ya nos conoce y siempre nos acomoda todo de manera muy conveniente.
Around 10:30 in the morning, inside the market itself, we stopped at a bakery for a snack. We took our time, no rush, as we would be home alone today because our son left for the beach. It was a relaxed time and we enjoyed a quiet morning while having a snack.
Alrededor de las 10:30 de la mañana, dentro del mismo mercado, nos detuvimos en una panadería para merendar. Nos tomamos nuestro tiempo, sin apuros, ya que hoy estaríamos solos en casa porque nuestro hijo se fue para la playa. Fue un momento relajado y disfrutamos de una tranquila mañana mientras merendábamos.
On our way back home, with our shopping done, we stopped by Servicauchos Lugo, which is located in La Asunción, on Giraldot Street in Nueva Esparta State, Margarita Island. To our surprise, they had the rubber we needed! Although it was Sunday, they were open and offering their service. We took the opportunity to put air in the tires and then we went out to look for the truck.
De regreso a casa, con nuestras compras ya hechas, pasamos por Servicauchos Lugo, que está ubicada en La Asunción, en la calle Giraldot del estado Nueva Esparta, en la Isla de Margarita. Para nuestra sorpresa, ¡tenían el caucho que necesitábamos! Aunque era domingo, estaban abiertos y ofreciendo su servicio. Aprovechamos para poner aire en los cauchos y luego salimos a buscar la camioneta.
My father wanted to accompany us, as he wanted to make sure that the rubbers were identical to the ones we used to buy. They turned out to be perfect, and their manufacturing date was 2024. We looked into this because six months ago, in a hurry, we bought some tires that turned out to fall apart because they were manufactured in 2013 and their storage was not the best. That experience made us learn to always check the date of manufacture and be a little more demanding with our purchase.
Mi padre quiso acompañarnos, ya que quería asegurarse de que los cauchos fueran idénticos a los que solíamos comprar. Resultaron ser perfectos, y su fecha de fabricación era del año 2024. Nos fijamos en esto porque hace seis meses, por apuro, compramos unos cauchos que resultaron desbaratarse porque fueron fabricados en 2013 y su almacenamiento no fue el mejor. Esa experiencia nos hizo aprender a verificar siempre la fecha de fabricación y ser un poco más exigentes con nuestra compra.
The service at Servicauchos Lugo was excellent and fast. Each rubber cost us $87, but it was worth it because our safety on the road is invaluable. When we finished and paid, which was quite easy thanks to the mobile payment, we waited for our bill and left very happy. Resolving this pending matter, which was getting to be an uphill climb, was a great relief. Within a few hours, and without having planned it, we were able to solve the problem.
El servicio en Servicauchos Lugo fue excelente y rápido. Cada caucho nos costó 87 dólares, pero valió la pena porque nuestra seguridad en la carretera es invaluable. Cuando terminamos y pagamos, lo cual fue bastante fácil gracias al pago móvil, esperamos nuestra factura y nos retiramos muy contentos. Resolver este pendiente, que se nos estaba haciendo cuesta arriba, fue un gran alivio. En pocas horas, y sin haberlo planeado, pudimos solucionar el problema.
Dear friends, for me, the day was super cool and very productive. We managed to accomplish a task that had us worried and alert. Now we can rest easy knowing that our tires are in good shape and we can drive safely.
