Greetings dear hives and friends of #dailyblog. Today I want to share with you the chronicle of a wonderful day, a healthy tour to Cerro Copey, or “la sierra” as some people affectionately call it.
The adventure began when we woke up very early, with the bubbling excitement of exploring a new hill, of which we had heard wonders and whose routes had been revealed to us.
We were filled with expectation, as we had been promised that from its summit we would be able to observe a large part of the city and the municipality of Maneiro and Mariño.
Saludos queridos hives y amigos de #dailyblog. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes la crónica de un día maravilloso, un saludable recorrido al Cerro Copey, o "la sierra" como cariñosamente le dicen algunos.
La aventura comenzó al despertar bien temprano, con la emoción burbujeante de explorar un nuevo cerro, del cual habíamos oído maravillas y cuyas rutas nos habían sido reveladas.
La expectativa nos embargaba, pues nos habían prometido que desde su cima observaríamos gran parte de la ciudad y el municipio Maneiro y Mariño.
Our ascent began in the municipality of Arismendi, specifically in La Asunción, Buenos Aires sector. On the way we stopped several times, captivated by the views that the ascent gave us, there was even a mango tree that gave us some fruit, these little things made us increase our excitement in this beautiful climb.

En el camino nos detuvimos varias veces, cautivados por las vistas que la subida nos regalaba, incluso había un árbol de mangos que nos regaló algunos frutos, estas pequeñas cosa hacía que aumentará nuestra emoción en esta hermosa subida.
I was able to appreciate the transportation used by the locals on this imported hill.
Pude apreciar como es el transporte que usan los lugareños en este cerro tan importado.
We reached the post of Inparque in Cerro Copey, where we were received by the workers of “imparque” with much affection, he explained to us that there is a route that is much higher that is done with clear days and indicated us to the area that today we can access, he guided us that we should register our visit and we contributed with a small fee for the parking of the vehicle. It seemed to me an act of justice, a grain of sand for the maintenance of this natural paradise that we all must take care of.
Alcanzamos el puesto de Inparque en el Cerro Copey, donde nos recibieron los trabajadores de “imparque” con mucho cariño, nos explicó que hay un recorrido que es mucho más arriba que se hace con los días despejado y nos indico al área que hoy podemos acceder, nos orientó que debíamos registrar nuestra visita y contribuimos con una pequeña cuota para el estacionamiento del vehículo. Me pareció un acto de justicia, un granito de arena para el mantenimiento de este paraíso natural que todos debemos cuidar.
We entered the Félix Gómez recreational area, a corner that I consider simply beautiful, that nothing more than pieces and nature seems to be wrapped in a magic, where the lush vegetation is the protagonist.
Entramos al área recreativa Félix Gómez, un rincón que considero simplemente hermoso, que nada más lo piezas y la naturaleza parece estar envuelta en una magia, donde la exuberante vegetación es la protagonista.
This charming place has a fountain that houses the image of the patron saint of the island, “La Virgen del Valle”, a detail that adds a spiritual touch to the place. a detail that adds a spiritual touch to the place. The park has several kiosks, each with a peculiar name, perfect for a picnic. These spaces are equipped with charcoal grills, rustic tables and chairs that blend in with the surroundings and beautiful, exuberant vegetation.
Este encantador lugar posee una fuente que alberga la imagen de la patrona de la Isla, “la Virgen del Valle” , un detalle que añade un toque espiritual al lugar. El parque cuenta con varios kioscos, cada uno con un nombre peculiar, perfectos para un picnic. Son espacios equipados con parrillas para cocinar al carbón, mesas y sillas rústicas que se funden con el entorno y una vegetación hermosa y exuberante.
From a vantage point, the city unfolded before my eyes, not as I had been told, it was much better. Although the day was not particularly sunny, the clouds dissipated enough for a moment to allow me to capture the beauty of the landscape with my camera.
Desde un mirador, la ciudad se desplegó ante mis ojos,no tal como me lo habían contado, era mucho mejor. Aunque el día no estuvo particularmente soleado, las nubes se disiparon lo suficiente por un momento como para permitirme capturar la belleza del paisaje con mi cámara.
Walking around the place, I discovered a rustic bridge that, I guess, must be a witness to the flow of water when the rains come.
Recorriendo todo el lugar, descubrí un puente rústico que, intuyo, debe ser testigo del fluir del agua cuando llegan las lluvias.
This walk was a balm for the soul, filling our lungs with oxygen and our hearts with peace. The beautiful and dense vegetation was the perfect companion in this day of connection with nature.
Este paseo fue un bálsamo para el alma, llenando nuestros pulmones de oxígeno y nuestros corazones de paz. La vegetación, hermosa y densa, fue la compañera perfecta en esta jornada de conexión con la naturaleza.
At the end of the tour through the park we had a snack, we hydrated ourselves well and we prepared to go downhill with our lungs full of fresh air and our hearts full of happiness and great emotion, for that reason dear friends, I could not stop sharing with you this beautiful moment.
