Today, once again, I am here to share with you how my day went, which was full of unexpected tasks and events.
My day began with an unusual tour of the city. Although my phone did not have enough charge due to a power outage in the early hours of the previous morning, this did not prevent me from taking some pictures to show you and also from delivering invoices, a crucial task in the first days of the month that cannot be left for later, because my income and that of others depends on them.

Hoy, una vez más, me encuentro aquí para compartir con ustedes cómo fue mi día, que estuvo lleno de tareas y eventos inesperados.
Mi jornada comenzó con un recorrido poco habitual por la ciudad. A pesar de que mi teléfono no tenía suficiente carga debido a un corte de electricidad en la madrugada anterior, esto no impidió que tomara algunas fotografías para mostrarles y cumpliera también con la entrega de facturas, una tarea crucial en los primeros días del mes que no puede quedar para después, porque de ellas dependen mis ingresos y el de otros.
The city was with its characteristic hustle and bustle of a working morning, tinged with its beautiful scenery, which fortunately I was able to capture a few moments to show you.
La ciudad estaba con su característico ajetreo de una mañana laboral, matizando con sus hermosos paisajes, que por fortuna mía, pude capturar algunos instantes para mostrarles.
Although my stay in Côte d'Azur usually requires a wait on most occasions, everything went surprisingly quickly, allowing me to return home a little early.
Aunque mi estancia en Costa Azul suele requerir una espera en la mayoría de las ocasiones, todo transcurrió con sorprendente rapidez, permitiéndome regresar a casa un poco más temprano.
As evening fell, I received a call from the Sunsol hotel, and in view of their urgency, I had no choice but to go there, as they would have an audit the next day. The sun was already setting on the horizon when I arrived at the Sunsol Unik Hotel.
Al caer la tarde, recibí una llamada del hotel Sunsol, y ante su urgencia, no tuve más remedio que dirigirme allí, ya que al día siguiente tendrían una auditoría. El sol ya se ocultaba en el horizonte cuando llegué al hotel Sunsol Unik.
Driving at night is not to my liking and generates a strong tension in me. My husband was not at home and my son had met with friends, so I left, alone, without hesitating too much, because if I thought twice I would not go out.
When I arrived at the hotel because of the time, the employee entrance was closed, so I went to the front desk, where I was greeted with a friendly smile and was immediately taken to the room where the conciliation would take place.
Time flew, we were so anxious for everything to be right, that we did not even realize how much time passed and the task, which seemed arduous, turned out to be brief and efficient; everything was perfectly agreed upon by both parties. I said goodbye and when I left, the night had already enveloped everything under the dark sky. The lights of the hotel were shining, giving it that unique distinction that only it can have.
Conducir de noche no es de mi agrado y me genera una fuerte tensión. Mi esposo no estaba en casa y mi hijo se había reunido con amigos, así que partí, sola, sin dudarlo demasiado, porque si lo pensaba dos veces no salía.
Al llegar al hotel por la hora, la entrada de empleados estaba cerrada, así que me dirigí a la recepción, donde fui recibida con una sonrisa amable y enseguida fui conducida al salón donde se llevaría a cabo la conciliación.
El tiempo voló, estábamos tan afanados porque todo estuviese bien, que ni nos dimos cuenta cuánto tiempo transcurrió y la tarea, que parecía ardua, resultó ser breve y eficiente; todo quedó perfectamente acordado entre ambas partes. Me despedí y al salir, la noche ya había envuelto todo bajo el cielo oscuro. Las luces del hotel brillaban, otorgándole esa distinción única que solo él puede tener.
The lights of the mall are already on, so I started my way back without stopping for a second and through the most illuminated avenues, until I got home.
También ya las luces del centro comercial están encendidas, así emprendí mi camino de vuelta sin detenerme ni un segundo y por las avenidas más iluminadas, hasta llegar a casa.
It was a long and demanding day, but the feeling of duty accomplished was immensely gratifying. I was unable to enjoy the nighttime charm of the city, as I don't like to drive alone at night and my family was anxiously waiting for me at home. I arrived exhausted but happy to see them and satisfied that everything went smoothly, especially considering how atypical the day was.

Fue un día largo y exigente, pero la sensación de deber cumplido era inmensamente gratificante. No pude disfrutar del encanto nocturno de la ciudad, ya que no me gusta conducir sola de noche y mi familia me esperaba ansiosamente en casa. Llegué exhausta pero feliz de verlos y satisfecha de que todo se desarrollara sin contratiempos, especialmente considerando lo atípico que fue el día.
