Hello, hive friends! As parents, we always wanted to be there for every milestone of our children, and today I got my full-stage mom mode on for Dannah's First Scouting experience.
Dannah is in Grade 1, and today marks the return of the Boy's Scout and Girl's Scout events in all public schools. She was really excited last week when she told me that she will be joining, so without any hesitation I filed for a vacation leave and flew all the way to Guiuan to be there in one of her other firsts.
We headed to school early today, and you can see that the elementary kids are all excited to join in all the lined-up activities. It's been nearly two years since the last scouting event due to the pandemic.
The teachers prepared various programs and games for the kids. There were also dance presentations by kids of every level as well as song intermission numbers.
Although the sun is scorching hot today, it didn't stop the kids from having fun. I just made sure that we brought a lot of water so Dannah could stay hydrated.
It's a whole day event, and we will be back later this afternoon to the school, and Dannah will also be joining the dance competition, so I can't wait to cheer for her.
That's it for now; I've got to go and prepare her things as we are heading back to school in a bit. Have a great Friday, everyone!
Xoxo
