Konnichiwa mina-san I am super stoked to be here and share with the hive community.
My name is Kudeh Emmanuel( yes I do have a middle name but I never use it) indigenously hailing from Ablesang, a small village with a dialect called Bishiri found in the Obanliku local government region of cross river state but born and bred in suleja Niger state where I have spent 90% of my lifespan so far. Born into a family of five (excluding my parents) I hold the 4th spot having three elder sisters and a younger brother.
Both my parents are still alive. My mother is a trader, while my father, who used to work as a laundry manager at 3J's Hotel, has been unable to work since 2017 due to a partial stroke from which he is still recovering till date.
Growing up in a very much involved environment I was raised by my parents, trained by the community and groomed by my sisters ( especially the second who did not hesitate to discipline me as it was already a known fact that boys with the name Emmanuel were notorious trouble makers (laughs)). I was never really a fan of school as a kid and wondered why I had to go there five times a week but despite my nonchalant attitude towards academics, my performance was still well above average and my grades encouraging.
My earliest educational institution was Salvation Army Nursery and Primary school where I attended the entirety of my nursery school before switching to Intelligentsia Educational Academy where I schooled from primary all the way to the end of my secondary school both of which are in Suleja.
As a child with an intense love for sci-fi movies and animations( Dexter's laboratory), I dreamed of becoming an engineer. However, my performance in chemistry and physics were way below average, even though I was good in biology, a subject I disliked. With life sciences off the table, I eventually switched to the Arts.
I sat for my Senior Secondary School Examination (SSCE) in 2015, but financial restrictions prevented me from continuing my education immediately. Instead, I spent four years in sales, working and saving up until I finally gained admission to The Federal University of Lafia to study Political Science. While the original plan was to pursue law, I decided to go with the flow and embrace this new path that laid ahead of me.
I am a fresh graduate from Federal University Of Lafia completing my studies in early October with good grades, an optimistic mindset and a passionate drive to embrace life challenges with a smile on my face.
I am currently working as a teacher at cornerstone Academy tutoring in civic education, social studies and government which started as just a means to generate income transformed into an enjoyable experience.
I was never really into sports and till date there's not even a single sport I am good at (besides maybe running due to the fact was always running from bullies in school) I can't even play football to save my life but I am steadily building zeal to watching football matches all thanks to my younger brother.
I am an intense Anime enthusiast and have been so for as long as I can remember, I also enjoy working out to stay in shape, reading books, writing, watching movies, listening to music and most importantly sleeping, singing and dancing (SSD).
All credit for my love of singing goes to my father ( who was a huge lucky Dube fan), my sisters and the residents of my neighborhood. Blues were a constant melody at home and I often found myself trying to mimic the voices of Westlife, backstreet boys, NSYNC, Celine Dion, Beyonce, Rihanna, Chris Brown among others to best of my ability.
I don't have any formal training whatsoever to perfect my singing prowess but I do my best to work with what I have. My favourite musical artistes are Chris brown, Juice Wrld, Cupid SZN, Speed Darlington ( I know what you are thinking) Sam smith, Justin Bieber and Ruger ( the list exceeds the few mentioned). Each artiste has a message that speaks to my soul directly and over the years these messages has helped shaped my life and how I perceive the world around me.
Here on the chain I am going to focus more on singing and writing but I am open to more activities if they are available. I can't really pinpoint an exact rhythm for my style, my energy is designed to match my surroundings and mood , I can be a symbol of hope and a realist all at once but regardless I believe in bringing the best out of my self and the people around me . With what I have, my desire is to touch hearts and match energies until chakras align one song at a time.
