Before exploring these ideas, I will necessarily like to spell out the necessity of understanding the season. Christmas seems to be the most celebrated time of the year, undoubtedly. You see families and individuals traveling from work places and from urban areas to rural or rural-urban ones to have this special season with their loved ones. I consider it joyful and wonderful. Nevertheless, its reason should never be thrown down the drain. Beyond the preparation and merriment of the season, it is important to have a reflection of what this time means to me individually and then make an assessment of my life in relation to that, then see what needs to done rightly. I believe if everyone will do this, the ultimate purpose of Christmas is actualised. Hence, that is my first idea for Christmas that I affirm one should consider; more of a lesson to me though.

To the bustle of the season now. After such a solemn reflection, one idea one should put to mind in this season of Christmas celebration is that of creating and nurturing relationship with people. Trust me, people are very paramount to our livelihood and our interaction with and in life. So take advantage of this season and develop or nurture those relationships. You can visit friends and family, share some moments with them, spend quality time and create good memories. That will really be nice.

How about a Christmas dinner also? Yeah, totally worth trying. A little dinner can be organized where you get to come together with family and friends to celebrate and enjoy the joy of the season. In such night, games can be played, sing Christmas songs, have a fun loving time with your dear ones.

Don't forget the Christmas carols. Christmas carols are very nice Christmas celebration events that connects us together with others in joyful assembly, with lessons to remind us of the purpose of Christmas. It features carol lessons that explores messages about the birth of the saviour. A host of other activities such as games are also incorporated to lighten the carol and set it in an atmosphere of celebration.

Much more, I cannot forget to mention that Christmas emphasises a season of love and sharing. One thing I consider paramount is this matter. The celebration of Christmas can only be complete when the love of this season is shared amidst many and with all. This sharing or giving can be to the less privileged, orphanages, hospitals, prisons, all to let these people know they are not alone but are loved even as the season emphasises it. So try to pick one location, pay them a visit, share this love and show that you care. It will mean a lot and go a long way I assure you. I wish to beckon that this act of love sharing should not be limited to this season alone though, but let it be significant of the season.

Finally, it will be a nice idea to have a get together with old friends and school mates. This Christmas season offers the best opportunity to reconnect with old acquaintances for the holiday season that it is. Reconnect with these old friends then and relive the old memories.

Yohh... I love carols, the lightening, the amazing songs of Christmas, it's another way I get to celebrate Christmas a little bit before Christmas day.
I've attended several ones already and tbh it's indeed an awesome experience...

Wow that's nice. I agree, carols light up the atmosphere and sets the mood for Christmas already.
I'm yet to attend one though but I will duly try to. Thank you.
