Who am I
Hello every one, my name is Elisha Bawa, preferred to be nickname ELIDON. I’m a citizen of Nasarawa state hail from Amaha community of Kokona LGA Nasarawa State Nigeria.
I’m the second child of my family born on 6th JAN-1997 with four other siblings, we are three boys and three girls with a gender pattern of xx, xy,xx,xy, xx and xy.
Life has shown us both good and had times as we are all raised by both parents still alive. With this, we are really grateful to God Almighty for the gift of life.
**EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND**
It is usually said that what you don’t know is always bigger than you and can kill you.
The thirst and quest for good upbringing with sound education has made my parent to move to Garaku town which is the nearest city within
Amaha community. Moving to the city gave me a chance to start my primary school education at central pilot primary school Garaku in the year 2004
After my primary school education, I proceed to Government Science School Lafia, where I obtain my SSCE in the year 20015
I have a great passion of becoming a medical personal in the nearest future, and the urge to serve and safe life which lead me to purchase a form for school of health and technology Alushi (Akwanga) Nasarawa state. Within one month of interest form purchase, I sat for the entrance examination and passed successfully in the year 2016, which I was given a provisional admission to study COMMUNITY HEALTH EXTENSION WORKER (CHEW)
Three years later I completed my study and passed the council examination for the year 20218 and was awarded a DIPLOMA IN CHOMMUNITY HEALTH EXTENSION and also a license to practice.
In the year 2021, I registered for the Joint Admission And Matriculation Board(JAMB) Exam and applied for Human Anatomy at Federal University Lafia. Despite having all the requirement (5-credit pass in O level and a good jamb score), I was not admitted into my desired course but instead, I was offered a provisional admission into B.S.C CHEMISTRY. I accepted the offer but could not resume campus due to ASSU strike until 2023.
Now am currently in 200level in the faculty of science, department of chemistry.
WORKING EXPERIENCE
Due to my quest for a higher education, I did not spend much time and years working in the hospital. But I worked with Our Lady Of Apostle (OLA) Hospital Akwanga Nasarawa State from 2019-2020.
Working in a hospital environment is highly time demanding, it needs commitment to work, as you are always accountable for all the patients entrusted to your care. The work is sometimes very stressful as it takes patience, endurance, and empathy to really care for the sick once. Aside hospital work, I engage in seasonal farming as it’s the occupation of my parents.
JOINING HIVE
I’ve never heard of anything like hive block chain, until my recent encounter with a great personality whom I considered a mentor, a friend and a brother @ovey10; he introduced me to the Hiv Block Chain and I sincerely felt it’s something I shouldn’t be left out.
Hearing of Hiv Block Chain I knew it’s not an ordinary environment, believing and hoping it will be a better platform for sharing and acquiring more knowledge. For I know, with you guys in this platform, I sincerely believe I will learn a lot from you all; because am always ready to learn and relearn.
WHAT I DO AND HOBBIES
I really love working in a hospital as a care giver because that’s the only thing that makes me happy and felt fulfill. I love reading books as it expands my knowledge to new ideas and strategies of managing things within the environment.
I also play football ⚽⚽sometimes with my free periods and am fans of Manchester united 😍
Aside hospital work, I’m a potential farmer as well; I propagate Maize, Ground nut, Melon, Beneseed, and Rice.
I will be posting mostly on health related issue and the need for crop farming in the midst of this hard and harsh economy, even as food is becoming an expensive commodity in our society.
CONCLUSION
I sincerely appreciate God for the gift of life and protection towards me and my family, God has really been faithful to us.
I really want to say a big thank you to @ovey10 for bringing me to this platform. HIV Reach out is great a place to be indeed. I look forward to have a blessed and a wonder life experience with you all...bye for now....much love 💕💕💕
