Every Gaze On The Lamb
Hello everyone it's good to have you all here and I hope you are having a great and wonderful day already. Have you ever ever imagined the real purpose of your existence? Do you really think we all came to the world, go to school, get a job, marry and have kids and that's all? Life is worth more than that, there is a special purpose of our existence which far beyond just procreating and filling the earth. How about life after death? However we decide to live our lives here on earth we shouldn't forget we all will give account of it all.
I am an advocate of the Kingdom of Christ and I want to share with you how loving Jesus has helped me and my entire family. Times are really difficult and it takes the strong in heart to cling to the word of God and His commandments which giveth life. Distractions of the world is to another level, crimes and temptation hovering over the surface of the earth, drastic increase of lacks and wants, competition and every other thing you could think of hovering over the earth. In this era, it's very easy for a Christian to divert from his purpose and commitment to God if he or she isn't rooted firmly in Christ. "Every Gaze On The Lamb" because the Lamb takes away our burdens and gives up hope for tomorrow.
Fixing my eyes on the Lamb reminds me frequently about the promises of God and why I need to keep pushing no matter the roughness of the road. God is my source of strength, we all need to stay connected to the Lamb "our power house" for strength. Whenever you take away your eyes from Him that's when you begin to sink. The story of Peter and the other disciples in the sea of Galilee says it all. Peter fixed his eyes on Jesus and he walked upon the waters but immediately the storms and the winds came Peter got distracted and removed his eyes from the Lamb. The Bible recorded that Peter began to sink immediately why because he disconnected himself from his the force that kept him walking above the waters. The storms of life are there to distract us but "Every Gaze on the Lamb" this is the only way to continue walking in the promises and blessings of the Lord.
This is from the just concluded Dynamic Voice of Praise concert in my school federal university of Lafia, it was indeed a remarkable time in God's presence. I hope to continue to share more words of faith with all of you my friends on Hive.
