Hi love’s , welcome back to my blog . How have you you’ll been ?the year is about to end and I just thought of sharing what January was for me by explaining my camera roll.
January marked the beginning of another year and I also celebrated my birthday. I had a good birthday picture and a cake to Celebrate . My heart was full with so much gratitude because it can only be God .
I recently started my lipgloss business again after how many trials in 2023. In march 2023 I made an order from a big brand (not so big ) the order where lipgloss ingredients I needed to start my own business . After placing my orders I didn’t get a feedback from the supplier I tried calling and texting her I never got any response from her . Few months later I got a message from her telling me that my orders have been seized in Lagos I was genuinely very disappointed and confused because how’s it possible I order something from in Jos all of a sudden my things are in Lagos . After she told me about the situation she promised to send me the order because she has rectified it. She told me she’s going to send my goods in park so they can bring it to me. Month went by and i didn’t get a response from her till January 2024 she sent and apology text to me and assured me that I will be getting my order days past in January and I didn’t receive a response from her . I had to compose a message to her . As at that time was doing my nysc it was from the money I received I hope to use to start up a business . The supplier girl ruined all my plans I had for my small business.after so many calls and messages from me she finally sent my money April 2024. By then I was already done with my nysc and I needed the money she refunded me to solve some issues . Month later my parents gave me Money to restart my business and I feel so grateful all my dreams of starting a lipgloss brand is coming to reality.
I can’t explain how I love tofu (awara) . Tofu is the English name for awara , does that live in the northern region of Nigeria should be familiar with this snack .its made from soya beans and normally so delicious. I can’t remember how got use to eating tofu and I doubt getting tired from eating it in fact I’m so in love with the northern food . They normally delicious . I love tofu to the extent I had to learn how to make it , I have tried to make tofu previously but it didn’t come out well after trying to make it again it seems better than the previous one I have been making .
This month was quite emotional for me 🥹 . Tell me why almost everyone I know is moving from Nigeria to another country? I understand how messed up this country economy is an even security it’s enough reason to run out of the country. I and my other friends accompanied my friend to the airport and it was quite emotional for me I felt entering my friend’s luggage. I love how calm the airport is . I definitely can’t wait to experience the airport again maybe this time around it will be traveling 😂.
This is another episode of Yoruba traditional wedding. My big cousin got married . Normally when celebrating traditional wedding in Yoruba land the bride and the groom family are expected to bring their Mc which also alaga in Yoruba land the work of the mc is to tell the in-law the purpose why each family are gathered and the bride will be asked if she knows the person that have come to ask for her hand in marriage . If she agree that she knows know them the groom will prostrate in front of the bride’s family for their blessings.
