GOOD HEALTH AND HYGIENE PRACTICES
Good health and hygiene practices are important for our well being.
I remember in my primary and secondary school my health teacher will always tell us to wash our hands regularly with soap and water especially after using the bathroom and before eating, is a simple yet effective way to maintain good hygiene. Taking a bath or shower daily keeps your body clean brushed your teeth twice a day with toothpaste and clean your tongue helps maintain good oral hygiene, Wear clean clothes every day and washing them regularly also contributes to good personal hygiene. This were some of the hygiene policies I adopt when in primary school and while growing up and it really helps me and still helping me. Regularly clean ,declutter and maintain a safe and comfortable living space.

Personal hygiene and food hygiene is very important, always I Wash my hands before handling food,I store food in a clean and covered place, I make sure my food properly cooked to avoid germs. There was a time I ate expired/spoiled food to know if it will have effect in my body systems and it really does, I ended up in the hospital. Avoiding those spoiled foods is a very important practices to our system because it will help prevent the spread of illnesses and keeps you healthy
Another way to practice good health and and hygiene is by Keeping our surroundings clean and tidy. Throwing away trash in bins, cleaning your home regularly avoiding littering and keeping public places clean all contribute to a healthy environment. This will helps prevent the spread of diseases and keeps our houses and community healthy. Get involved,volunteer and work towards creating a healthier and more supportive community.

One thing and practice i always do to keep my self healthy is regular exercise, such as walking, playing football or jogging and eating a balanced diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables and whole grains have help me maintain good health.
Getting enough sleep at least 7-8 hours and drinking plenty of water at least 8 cups a day also helps maintain overall wellbeing. I ecognize and mange my emotions, i practice empathy and maintain a healthy relationships.
I know of a neighbor who died because of poor hygiene practices, always smoking and taking unhygienic things that and it really affect his well-being. Avoid smoking, limiting alcohol consumption and taking of harmful substances are important for good health. Exercise and a healthy diet help maintain a strong immune system, while sufficient sleep and water intake help your body function properly. Also go for medical checkups once or twice a month.
**Conclusion: **Good health and hygiene practices are essential for living a healthy and fulfilling life, they help you avoid illnesses, maintain a healthy weight and increase your energy levels. By making these practices a part of your daily routine, you can enjoy life to the fullest!
