Hello guys, welcome to my blog. My name is pretty-iffy and I am very happy and excited to be a part and member of this community. I am a newbie and I hope to find and make new friends here that will teach me more about hive, and I also hope to learn more from this wonderful community. This is my second post in this community and so long I've been learning a lot from others post and this community have been giving good and interesting topics for us to talk about.

This week we were given another great and interesting topic to talk about that has to do with each and every of us. And from the little I know about this community, it has to do with reaching out to the less privileged and making them feel loved and giving them a reason to live, in which I am in full support of. So this week I am going to be talking about the topic that was given to us, the topic is " practicing self compassion". Indeed this is a very great topic that has a lot inside of it. Let's begin and let's get to know how and what it means by self compassion.

Self compassion in my knowledge is an act whereby you treat your self with care and compassion, have an understanding spirit and be able to control yourself whenever you make mistakes and learn from them. Self compassion is really a great behavior for a human being to have, it helps complete a human being, because if you can't feel compassion for your self you will continue making mistakes and continue failing without solving the main issue. Self compassion also helps to calm a person down and it helps as an encouragement because you will always make yourself feel loved.

Practicing self compassion will be one of the great practices for me because it will give many positive results in your life and it will also help you in achieving your goals and dreams. There are many ways to practice self compassion, one of which is paying attention to your thoughts and emotions without judging anything, just being mindful of your self. Another way of practicing self compassion is by stopping or challenging negative talk about yourself and reframing negative thoughts about your self to positive ones, this would help a long way because most times it happens to us and we just take it casual.

There are many more ways of practicing self compassion, but these are my main ways of practicing self compassion, and I hope to learn from others post, I also hope to see you all next week which is going to be another exciting week. Bye.
