Good day everyone and welcome to this week weekly activities in the hive reachout community. My name is quin.lizzy and today in the hive reachout community I would be talking about the topic "how to manage your anger" given to us to write about.
This topic to me is personally what every human has and should be able to control it for the betterment of everyone, but before I continue I will like us to look at what anger is, anger is a feeling of bitterness triggered by a action or words said that is displeasing to the person said or done to.
This feeling can make a person do what he or she would regret in the future if the react at that moment,it is evidence enough cause I have also experienced such situation.
I would like to give some ways I personally use to manage my anger, the following are some of some ways I use to control my anger:
Firstly and the most important is that I use my faith to control my anger, being a Christian anger is one of the things Christ said we should stay away from instead we should be filled with love for one another,I try to put this as a prayer point so that God would help me work on it for with my strength I can do nothing, this anger is more than is seems to be physically it can seem as a normal thing to some persons until you find out how deep it can cause you and I must say my level of anger has really reduced knowing the fact that I have put it in the place of prayers and I know that God it really still working on me.
Secondly,I use the therapy of music to calm me down, when ever am angry I prefer being silent for a while and listening to music, putting my phone on do not disturb or silent is really what I do, trying to find myself and not do something to hurt the person that cause me such pain, cause I wouldn't like to hurt a person even though he or she wronged me in the name that I was angry at that moment.Truth be told music is my therapy cause it does alot of repairs to my heart and make me become calm and gentle.source
Thirdly,I try to make the issue look small and simple,I try to smile rethink about it and say to my self that this action should not make me bitter but instead I should be able to manage the situation,it depends on the mindset and how you see things,to be Frank I hate dishonesty and I would just be angered if I finally find out that I was lied to,but when my friends did that to me,I shared it with my father and we make a joke out of it, trying to balance the feelings so that I don't say a word or do a thing that would be hurtful and making anger Victorious but wanted peace to realm, when you are calm you should talk about it cause saying the words out relieves a lot of anger.
Finally,if it's possible just leave the scene where such thing happen and go to somewhere we're you can have a good energy to calm down, like being with friends if you are the type who prefers being with friends at your lowest or go to quiet place to help you calm down,it would help you think and know how to calm down and react to the particular situation. This are ways I use to manage my anger and I hope it would be of help, thanks for stopping by my blog.
