Hello, welcome to this week weekly prompt with the topic " How do you manage your anger"? .
Anger refers to a natural human expression that shows displeasure concerning an action, anger is a natural occurrence, and a normal human phenomena. When people treats you badly, when people are unfair to you, You most be angry when someone match your toes, being angry is not the problem but how to manage or curtail it.
On seeing this week's prompt, I remember a painful scenario, it was back then in school, so I cooked the last 4 cups of rice we are having in the room I couldn't eat before my lecture, I was actually running late, I returned to meet only few spoons of rice haaa🙆,my room mate and friends did justice to the food, my body was shaking, my breath changed and my eyes were red,this is very annoying, I feel like strangling her.
Frankly speaking, as long as you're alive and you relates with people in a daily basis, they most match your toes, people will push you to the wall, anger can be manage. Then how do I manage my anger?
The FIRST way I manage my anger is "silence" ( The power of silence) . My anger escalate whenever I continue talking with the person that makes me angry, this will make me react in such a manner I will regret so the best thing is to keep quiet so I can calm down.
SECONDLY, LEAVE i.e withdraw from the scene, just walk away.
IN ADDITION, be intentional about the act of forgiveness. A saying goes, " To err is human to forgive is divine". Practice the act of forgiveness, as this will aid you discard all the grudge harbour in your heart. People that forgives enjoy peace and joy.
FOURTHLY, practice the act of self control, learn to live above your emotions, put yourself together, do not be in a rush to take rash action. Your reaction when angry cannot be revised.
LASTLY, Music: I listen to good music whenever I am angry. You know, there is something with music, it calm the soul and gives peace. After walking away from the scene I get my good music, get my earpiece and flow with the melody of the songs.
IN CONCLUSION, anger management is a great virtue we all need to purchase, this will go a long way to sustain ones relationships with people around . In all your management, please learn to manage your anger.When you loss your temper, you loss many things alongside, so be careful
