My name is Stephen Friday Araku, I'm Eggon by tribe from Nasarawa state, Nasarawa Eggon LGA, Nigeria. I reside in Ubbe, my home town. I come from a family of four. I'm a graduate from college of Education Akwanga, Nasarawa state along Jos Road.
I was born and brought up in Nasarawa, where life is more living on an average. We have to endure it because no condition is permanent, certainly things will be better someday.
It's been hell after I graduated from school, there was nothing to do to earn money, I waited for the government to give me a job but as time went by and none came, so I decided to learn electrical work.
After I graduated from learning the skill. I had to go back to the digital world. I had so much passion for earning online but I couldn't focus on any because I was not sure of which one to hold onto coupled with the fact that I was not getting good results from the ones I tried. But guess what? I never stopped trying.
Currently, I'm an electrician, I can do both surface and conduit wiring. You can patronise me. I also teach in a private secondary school in my community.
I want to use this medium to extend my gratitude to the community for this remarkable opportunity. It's been a while since my friend @emreal kept pressuring me about this platform but I kept procrastinating instead and I am so glad he didn't give up trying.
A few days ago, I got to attend a seminar about Hive by the hive-reachout community hosted by @ovey10. It was such a beautiful moment for me.
Hearing them talk about how Hive transformed their lives not just financially but educationally was something I couldn't get out of my head.
Their testimonies and encouragement was a message of light to me. It totally ripped off the doubts that were blinding my heart at first. I never imagined there's any platform that still pays after all the ponzi scheme experience I have had. Not until I learned that everything is feeless including the registration,I was like wahoo, indeed!
I am a fan of movies, music and sport as well. I love playing football, it's something I don't get tired of doing as long as I have some time to spare.
Here on the Blockchain, I would love to explore both music and writing. Music is something I do during my leisure time a lot. I am not yet a pro at it. I must confess but I am sure, I'll become better here.
I am a little bit of a motivational writer, I love to affect my world with positivity wherever I go, I won't hesitate to do that here when I get the opportunity.
I'm so excited to have gotten this amazing opportunity, I can't wait to connect with you all, sharing my experience and learning from yours and always get each other's back for the growth of this amazing community.
