Last weekend I had the opportunity to attend an otaku culture event called Akiba Fest VZLA, it was held in a roofed space of the Universidad Bicentenaria de Aragua which is located in the city of Turmero, very close to Maracay. Once I arrived to the vicinity of the university, came to my mind some few moments I lived there some years ago, for example, my first smart phone I bought it there in a cell phone store that was in the food court, I bought it there since a friend from the university (another university), worked in that store and had told me that there was a good phone on sale, so I did not hesitate to go.
The other moment that I had to go was much more significant and it is that my husband graduated from that university, so I went to the graduation ceremony that was held precisely in that roofed space. Although I studied elsewhere and I am happy with the career from which I graduated, I always thought of the Universidad Bicentenaria de Aragua as an alternative to study psychology, but unfortunately the times I had available did not coincide with this platonic desire.
So, to get into the subject, I took advantage of my attendance to the otaku culture event to take some pictures of the university which I had listed as a possible option to visit it and take pictures for the community, but fortunately I got there by inertia. This university is not very big compared to others in the country, but I think it is very well planned according to the work it does. Mainly there are buildings in which the faculties of law, administration, engineering and psychology function, these faculties are identical in structure except for some minor details.
The buildings are mostly 4-story buildings that can be accessed through external and internal stairs, they have administrative areas and of course the classrooms. I would say they are simple buildings, but they are pleasing to the eye, I think they have an interesting style.
An interesting element that this university has are the green areas, they are perfectly included in the planning and I would say that they occupy a large percentage of the space in general. The general state of the grass, trees and bushes is very good, it is noticeable that they take great care in the maintenance of the green areas, and well, these are undoubtedly a green lung for the building and for those who live in the university.
Now, in the university there is a large roofed structure that is used for graduation ceremonies, sporting events or other types of events, it was precisely there where the otaku culture event was held. I must emphasize that it is a multifunctional space quite large, with bleachers and air conditioning. It is an ideal place to accommodate large numbers of people because of its comfort and height.
The university also has a baseball field which is in perfect condition, as well as a large parking lot and common areas which look ideal for resting while waiting for the next class, I must highlight again the large amount of vegetation that can be seen in all directions.
This is how I publish for the first time a house of studies in the community, I know there must be some others out there and these are already a target to be visited and of course, to take pictures to share them there. I wasn't planning on touring the place to take pictures, but I'm glad the opportunity presented itself. It was a pleasure to share, big hugs!
