Hello Hivers
How are you all, I'm back in this beloved community to share some pictures that I got when I visited one of the mosques in the area where I live, the mosque is quite unique both in terms of its shape and location, this is also my first visit to this mosque even though it is only about 2 kilometers from my house, there is no need to linger anymore, let's start the discussion this time
This mosque is called SULTAN MALIKUSSALEH MOSQUE which is in the area of MALIKUSSALEH UNIVERSITY which was inaugurated in 2018 by the rector of the university, and until now its beauty is still well preserved, its location in a hilly area makes it look even more beautiful and interesting to look at, above is a picture from the right side of this mosque
There are many roads that can be used to get to this mosque, either from the right, left or from the front of the mosque, and on each side there is an entrance that can be used to enter the mosque.
The shape is much different from other mosques which are identical with domes and minarets and large pillars, but not with this mosque, the shape is like today's modern buildings which take modern architectural concepts with minimalist designs and models, in more detail, I will show other pictures that even closer
After climbing several steps made of granite, the beauty of this mosque building is increasingly visible, the shape of the carvings on it really caught my attention, what's more, the sun is still very bright, making the reflection of the light very visible, with several trees in the courtyard of the mosque add to the atmosphere to feel comfortable
The terrace of this mosque also looks unique, some steel is used as a support for each pillar which may aim to make this pillar more sturdy, this mixed style is combined with a classic style that looks at certain angles, like the following carvings, for example
That's the overall view from the right side of this mosque, I took every detail and angle on purpose because it would be a shame to miss it
The shape of the calligraphy seen on the windows and the roof of the mosque is a classic style of calligraphy painting, but if it is collaborated with a modern building shape like this, it will produce a magnificent, simple yet charming architectural masterpiece, taken from any angle. I found that it still looks good, especially since the location of this mosque is slightly higher than where I was standing, more precisely, the courtyard in this mosque is almost entirely a ravine, but not a deep ravine
The carvings on the pillars supporting the terrace are no less interesting, the green color mixed with the gold color is the perfect collaboration for this carving, with the cream color on the pillars which makes it look even more beautiful, especially when exposed to sunlight like this, the gold color reflects the light that dazzling
Now let's move on to the front where the main entrance is
The main gate is on the front side of the mosque which has two terraces with the same shape, the same iron pillar as on the right side, and a sliding glass door to open it.
On the front, there is a painting that mentions the name of this mosque, however, originally the mosque was called TENGKU BULLAH MOSQUE not MALIKUSSALEH MOSQUE, unfortunately I don't know the reason for changing the name of this mosque, I found out about this when look at the nameplate on the other side that says the name of this mosque at first, there is also a painting on the wall that tells about the history of the name TEUNGKU BULLAH
Apart from the history of this Islamic figure (TENGKU BULLAH) here also mentions the date of the inauguration of this mosque, which was carried out by the university rector at that time, but I don't know anything about this university, so let's go back to the topic, and let's see the inside of this mosque
The inside is also very different from other mosques, there is not a single supporting pillar that can be seen, as well as the minarets or domes, this mosque is plain and only has a few beautiful carvings on the front, and these carvings are very unique, the uniqueness is, at a glance the colors we see look at the carvings that are blue in color, but no, after I got closer, it turned out that the carvings were green, the blue color you see is the result of the reflection of the lights on the front, and is reflected by the tiles on the floor, so it looks like it's colored blue, to prove what I said, here's a close-up of the engraving
Isn't it obvious, the carvings are green in color, apart from that the carvings on the ceiling of the dome of this mosque are also beautiful, with bright colors and beautiful painting shapes, although they don't have many patterns, they still have their own beauty.
The unique location also makes me feel comfortable when I'm in this mosque, the hot weather still feels cool because the trees and nature around the mosque are still very well preserved, even the scenery that looks very beautiful, the interior environment of this mosque is very unique, here's some of the pictures
Above are some natural views that can be seen from inside, the right side, left side and front of the mosque, all this natural beauty is deliberately made as an interior, like the small bamboos that are lined up for example, that is the road leading to the kamae bath and ablution place, too you can see the parking area and several faculties in this university area, it's really amazing isn't it, it feels like being in a villa at the top, besides the unique building, the beauty that Dk offers is also very interesting
And this is the very front of this mosque, which clearly shows the shape of this building, a slight slant, but it's not a camera effect, that's how it is, and that's what makes this mosque very unique and far different from other mosques I've ever seen see, at the same time, the picture is also the closing of our meeting this time, thank you and see you soon
THANK YOU 🙏
