Hello! Once again, I'm here with you, dear followers of #architectureanddesign . I wish you a great day and a well-deserved weekend.
Today, as it's one of the last days of the week and it's also a holiday in Venezuela for Independence Day, I didn't have to work. I took advantage of the fact that it is very difficult for me to stay in bed and got up early, as usual, to go to the Traki shop in the La Vela shopping centre because the shopping centres do not rest on this day. My main objective was to buy birthday candles, as there have been several birthdays this month and I don't want to run out of them.
As I was walking down one of the aisles of the mall, something caught my eye: a shop that turned out to be the Unitv television channel. This channel broadcasts on cable TV in Margarita and also has a presence on the digital platforms Instagram and YouTube, this was explained to me very well by the girl at the reception who was very friendly.

Hoy, como es uno de los últimos días de la semana y además es feriado en Venezuela por el Día de la Independencia, no tuve que trabajar. Aproveché ya que me cuesta mucho quedarme en la cama y levantarme temprano, como de costumbre, para dirigirse a la tienda Traki en el centro comercial La Vela porque los centros comerciales no descansan este día. Mi objetivo fundamental era comprar velas de cumpleaños, ya que este mes ha habido varios cumpleaños y no quiero quedarme sin ellas.
Mientras caminaba por uno de los pasillos del centro comercial, algo llamó mi atención: un local que resultó ser el canal de televisión Unitv. Este canal se transmite por televisión por cable en Margarita y también tiene presencia en las plataformas digitales de Instagram y YouTube, esto me lo explicó muy bien la muchacha de la recepción que era muy amable.
The Unitv studio is located in a fully visible area, with a metal and glass structure. From the other side of the glass, visitors can watch while programmes are being recorded.
El estudio de Unitv está ubicado en un área completamente visible, con una estructura de metal y vidrio. Desde el otro lado del cristal, los visitantes pueden observar mientras se graban los programas.
At the entrance, a counter in grey marble and black painted wood has the channel's logo in the centre. The lower line of light on the furniture adorns it, contrasting with the green of the logo.
En la entrada, un mostrador de mármol gris y madera pintada de negro lleva el logo del canal en el centro. La línea de luz inferior en el mueble, lo adorna contrastando con el verde del logo.
In the canal area, the ceiling features a piece of plaster that forms a beautiful arch to the back of the studio's armchairs. These armchairs match perfectly with the canal's signature colour. The ceiling pendant lights illuminate the space, creating a cosy atmosphere.
En el área del canal, el techo presenta una pieza de yeso que forma un hermoso arco hasta la parte trasera de los butacones del estudio. Estos butacones combinan perfectamente con el color insignia del canal. Las lámparas colgantes del techo iluminan el espacio, creando una atmósfera acogedora.
The exterior of the studio has a blue granite floor that does not go unnoticed. Inside, the floor imitates wood and the colour beige predominates, combining very well with the central armchair.
I am very struck by the modern architecture of shopping centres because everything is based on structure, glass and excellent lighting.
El exterior del estudio tiene un piso de granito azul que no pasa desapercibido. En el interior, el piso imita la madera y predomina el color beige combinando muy bien con el butacón central del local.
Me llama mucho la atención la arquitectura moderna de los centros comerciales porque todo se basa en estructura, vidrio y una excelente iluminación.
What impressed me most about Unitv is that everything that happens inside is exposed. The presenters and staff seem to enjoy this transparency, and visitors are perplexed as they watch the programme through the glass. No one catches your eye; everyone seems comfortable as you watch.
Lo que más me impresionó de Unitv es que todo lo que sucede en su interior está expuesto. Los presentadores y el equipo parecen disfrutar de esta transparencia, y los visitantes se quedan perplejos al ver el programa a través del cristal. Nadie te llama la atención; todos parecen estar cómodos mientras observas.
After appreciating this singular channel, where the guest is often seated in a comfortable red armchair, I went to my initial destination, which was the "Traki" shop.
I went to my initial destination, which was the "Traki" shop, where I was kindly attended by a young woman, something I must emphasise about this shopping centre, it is very rare to find a shop assistant, waiter, shopkeeper, etc., who does not fail to treat me kindly.
Después de apreciar este singular canal, dónde muchas veces sientan al invitado en un confortable butacón rojo.
Me dirigí a mi destino inicial que era la tienda “Traki", donde fui atendida con amabilidad por una joven, es algo que debo resaltar de este centro comercial, es muy raro encontrar un dependiente, mesonero, tendero, ect..que no deje de tratarme con amabilidad.
