Good vibes hivers of the world.
I have a great weakness for nature and although I live in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, that is, in a concrete jungle, I try as much as possible to give myself that space where the sound of the breeze passing through the trees whispers in my ear When are you going to become a hermit?
In short, I don't like crowded places, so although I know there are countless beautiful places in my city such as shopping malls, restaurants, etc., my favorite places are those that give me a little contact with nature, even if it's from afar.
In recent days I was a volunteer - guide in a yoga class for blind people. After the experience, which was certainly enriching, I decided to treat myself to a walk through the park where the yoga practice took place.
After the walk my spirit invited me to have tea at Las Corocoras Restaurant, which is located in the heart of the park. At first glance it does not attract attention. It is a concrete grid structure where the kitchen is located and a platabanda roof, attached to the floor with cylindrical columns. The floor is rustic caico.
At the entrance there is vegetation and trees all around. A blackboard and a little further on a decoration of logs arranged as a sign, tell us the menu of the day. Without taking another step, we found some beautiful rustic wooden furniture adorned with colorful cushions.
I immediately noticed a small pallet and a library. If you love reading, this place invites you to come in, take a book and while you drink your tea, coffee, juice or food, you read.
In the center of the restaurant I found a space with a carpet and on it a carved metal table with glass base and matching chairs, however when I looked around the rest of the tables were plastic with ceramic base and at the entrance were wooden furniture. For a moment I felt that the decoration was not thought out. It is antagonistic, it is in complete opposition.
As decoration there were flowers, carved birds, paintings of trees, carved trunks and for a moment, sitting waiting for my tea, I saw the beauty of the place. That chaos between rustic, common and elegant with a bit of wild, then I felt at home.
The totally open dining area allows us to see the trees and the duck lake, really that is the beauty of the place. For a moment I imagined Tarzan swinging through the vines. The place was quite crowded mostly by older people talking happily.
"I came back from my reverie and with interest I read the message that brought me the tea: "Mother-in-law take it easy" hahahaha divine message, that means that my partner in life and adventures is already here.
Thank you for being my company in these journeys of discovery, learning and fun.
