Radho Suites
Radho Suites is a four-star quality hotel that I think is very traveller-friendly. Although not as cheap as hostels, RAdho dares to take prices below the standard prices for other four-star categories. Located on Jalan Kawi no.3 Malang, the Radhoo hotel has a location that I think is very strategic. Close to the mall, close to the traditional market, and close to a row of shophouses with some legendary culinary delights favoured by domestic and foreign tourists.
Although from the outside the building is not very big and very simple, however, Radho is neatly designed. I arrived very early, and left my luggage as I had to wander around the neighbourhood until check in time. As soon as I entered the reception, there was a set of tables and chairs that were used for the hotel guests' breakfast.
Then on the opposite side, there is a comfortable sofa that can be used to relax or just waiting for check in time. Around the sofa, there are floral ornaments in a tall vase, as well as some paintings on the wall that add to the impression that the room is not entirely boring.
Bedroom
In the afternoon, after I was tired of wandering around the malls and museums, it was finally time to check in. I rushed back to the hotel because I wanted to rest.
The room with twin beds was quite spacious. As usual, in the middle between the beds was a nightstand where we could put our important items, such as mobile phones. In front of the bed, there was a television and a desk chair for other purposes: perhaps relaxing or doing some work.
Moving to the right, there was a full glass wardrobe unit and next to it was a table with amenities: an electric kettle, coffee, the, sugar, mineral water, two sets of toothbrushes, and also cups for hotel guests to enjoy their tea.
As for the bathroom, it was standard, with a closet by the door, a shower, and a washbasin and glass for us to get dressed. Two sets of towels are also there. Unfortunately, the type of water here is not very clear. I don't know why I didn't ask. As for the air-conditioning, it works very well.
Rooftop
Since I was feeling a little bored in the afternoon, I took the initiative to go to the top floor, or the rooftop. According to the roomboy, the rooftop is actually unused, however, we were allowed to go up and have a look. Because I was still curious, I finally went up using the lift.
Sure enough, there was nothing here except potted plants hanging or placed on the floor. I approached a small fish pond with a few koi still inhabiting it. From up here, the mesmerising silhouette of Arjunan mountain can be seen in the distance. As a mountain lover, Malang is a great place to enjoy its natural scenery.
Some of the chandelier ornaments were rusted and no longer functional. I took a picture of it because I thought it was a good model. This one was round with a border surrounded using crystal ornaments, maybe if it was still functional, it would be nice.
Another shape is a plain white cylinder that looks simple. Then, another one was oval-shaped with the edges made of wood.
I didn't linger there for long, as my friend had instructed me to get down quickly and join the others. We were going to wander around again, and get some food for Bromo tomorrow morning. So, that's all I wrote to show you the interior design of the Radho Suites hotel. Thank you for reading until the end. See you next post...
Hi, I am the child of the universe, I like to read books with various genres. I was born in the city of batik but can't draw batik yet. I want to be a novelist, but my works are only short poems that are included in anthology books.
