L’ombra della croce [SMASh]

An elderly man was resting on the bench of a public garden and the sunlight created on the ground a large cross-shaped shadow. It was the shadow of the statue placed in the center of the flowerbeds. The photograph I took many years ago simultaneously contains references to old age, religion and nature in the same image.

Sulla panchina di un giardino pubblico stava riposando un uomo anziano e la luce del sole creava per terra una grande ombra a forma di croce. Era l’ombra della statua collocata al centro delle aiuole. La fotografia che ho scattato molti anni fa contiene contemporaneamente riferimenti alla vecchiaia, alla religione e alla natura nella medesima immagine.
