Going to marina bay Singapore is quite fun at night. Its beauty truly blooms when the sun hides. With all the lights surrounding it you can appreciate it more compared to a day time visit.
It's more peaceful and you can escape from the scorching heat of the sun. In the place where I was sitting I could clearly see the Singapore flyer and its reflection. One of the largest observation wheels in the world. A spin on this flyer takes you 165 meters above ground or as high as 42 stories. It operates at day time and closes at 10pm at night. You can have the last admission at 9:30, but I guess nobody wants to come in at the last minute because you cannot enjoy the rides properly if you're into it. The ticket is not cheap, so I bet you would see to it that it's worth what you paid for. The best ride is at sunset, when the skyscrapers are covered in golden glow. As night falls the buildings are covered with twinkling lights.
This is my entry photo for reflection hunters by @olgavita and @melinda010100 thank you. 👇👇
Though there are still few of reflections photos I guessed above was the best shot.
I haven't tried going there, I just enjoyed looking at it from afar. I'm not a fan of this kind of ride, even though I haven't tried it, just thinking about it makes my stomach turn cold. There's more to it if you come and visit the place. There's not many people today as I glance and look at the place. I remember coming here for the past four years during new year's eve. There's fireworks and lightning that time. This place was flooded by people that wanted to witness the fireworks. After COVID hit, it stop for more than two years and when it resumed again I didn't get the chance to come and visit again.
This place was decorated by different lights and a lot of kiosks was placed for entertainment. Some are food stalls and there are bars too.
I remember a lot of drunk people that just lay on the ground. When my friend asked me to come last year, I didn't bother to ask my boss because I knew she wouldn't allow me.
My only option is to sneak out, which I didn't do because I'm tired at that time.
Hopefully this year I will be able to witness this magical lightning and fireworks. I just enjoy the scenery of the place today and try to snap some photos. Luckily the weather today is good. There's no sign that rain would pour anytime coz of the clear sky. Past few days it has been raining at night, starting from when the sun is about to set. If rain poured today we would change our plan or would rather stay at home to be more comfortable.
I was lost in deep thoughts that I didn't notice the time. It's time to bid goodbyes for I must be home before my curfew. How I wish this curfew thing didn't exist for I hate to chase the MRT and buses every time I have a good time outside and need to rush home after 🫤.
That's all for today guys. See you around♥️
