A bit of rain fell this morning. I mean, it was a short rain. But pretty heavy.
So a nice quantity of water ended up accumulating in some places. Nice little puddles and large shallow pools were created.
It was the right time to take a walk and get some reflections before the scenery dries out.
I took this photograph and then, a moment later ...
... a car passed through the scene, made the water move, and changed the reflection considerably.
At one point, a bit of sun passed through the layer of clouds.
Here, you can see how that small, temporary change looked in the puddles on the cracked asphalt.
This is a detail from the summer terrace on the other side of the road.
A bit further, I photographed a small, wooden summer shack reflected in the water calm as a mirror.
Here the focus is on some plants by the road, reflected in the same pool of water. The shack is in the background.
Here you can see the reflection of some rhomboid traffic sign, while the following shot ...
... is showing a muddled image of a quadrangular sign that looks a bit like a rhomboid because of the angle from which the photograph was taken. The big fat letter P - for parking is barely visible because the thing is reflected in the thin layer of water on the grainy asphalt.
This photograph shows the puddle in which those signs were reflected.
Not far from there, just across the street, I caught a piece of the pretty cool-looking gate of one of the gardens near the road.
When I returned to the place where the opening shot was taken, which is also very near - 30 meters or so ...
... a man was jumping to evade the large puddle.
A minute later, another car was passing by.
It was entering the parking area.
The car was a nice addition, but the building in construction behind it was the star of this scene. Doubled by its reflection, it looked pretty cool.
Before going home, I caught a glimpse of myself reflected in the toll booth at the parking lot's entrance.
AND THAT'S IT. I HAD SOME FUN WITH THE LOCAL REFLECTIONS. AS ALWAYS IN THESE POSTS ON HIVE, THE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE MY WORK - THE END.
