Greetings Reflection Hunters
This week I want to share some shots I took while visiting the Water Rat Restaurant & Bar in Ripon North Yorkshire.
While the sun was setting the colors of the sky at magic hour were reflected in some windows across the street.I became fascinated with the changing colors and tree silhouettes and did my best to record some of this unique and transient photo opportunity.
-I guess this shot is extra unique since it is shot through the window of The Water Rat which gives us the added reflection of the fire exit sign haunting the picture like a spooky green and white phantom!-
These 2 shots were taken maybe 5 or ten minutes apart. This shot below was taken first. The one above which I am using for this week's entry was taken a little later when the fiery orange and pink hues had disappeared from the sky. To me, the chilled-out violet/lavender hues in the top picture seem more visually appealing.
This shot shows the whole building where the windows are located, this is taken from a riverside seat in The Water Rat.
Here we have a couple of single window comparison shots again taken somewhere between 5 and 10 minutes apart. This first one has firey hues.
This one has those more chilled-out twilight colors.
