These images were taken by me, on a rainy afternoon on May 5, 2024, in the central courtyard of the Juan Fernández de León School of Guanare Portuguesa, waiting to clear off after finishing my work day. Without further ado, let's begin...
Siempre uno espera que termine de llover, por lo menos para escapar de una jornada laboral extenuante. Pero, una cosa es la que piensa la naturaleza y otra la que uno puede hacer por esta, es por ello que mientras escampaba, nos dimos la tarea de tomar fotografías de sombras; más aún cuando puedes retomar #hive luego de varios días sin publicar cosas interesante.
Esto de captar sombras es algo muy significativo porque nos conlleva a agudizar los sentidos y despejar la mente mientras se despeja el día.
El patio central de la escuela se convierte en ese espejo capaz de reflejar, las realidades que nos muestra la lluvia y que muchas veces ignoramos por esas agendas en las cuales nos sumerge la vida, sobretodo la laboral...
Esto de captar sombras es algo muy significativo porque nos conlleva a agudizar los sentidos y despejar la mente mientras se despeja el día.

One always waits for the rain to stop, at least to escape a strenuous work day. But, one thing is what nature thinks and another is what one can do for it, that is why while it was clearing, we took on the task of taking photographs of shadows; even more so when you can resume #hive after several days without publishing interesting things.
Capturing shadows is something very significant because it leads us to sharpen our senses and clear our minds while the day clears.

Este patio de cemento se convierte en una cuadricula llena, no solo de agua, sino de imágenes llenas de luz. Entra el invierno en el mes de mayo con matices de reverdecer y mientras tanto, uno sigue esperando que escampe para partir porque no hay otra manera de hacerlo...
En un lugar que puede ser tan cálido como Guanare, la lluvia es esa especie de válvula de escape para que los árboles reverdezcan y podamos valorar, lo poco que aún nos queda hasta que nos extingamos en esta época del camino hacia el "No retorno ambiental"

Para la fotografía no es necesario buscar los escenarios cuando los escenarios abundan por todas partes, de norte a sur o de este a oeste. Y seguimos pensando que el gran arquitecto de las maravillas visuales es Dios, porque las mejores fotos del universo son por culpa de la naturaleza, de la cual somos parte y no un punto aparte... Mientras tanto seguimos captando momentos felices, aprendiendo a fotografiar, hasta las sombras. Hasta la próxima, Dios les bendiga...
For photography it is not necessary to look for the settings when the settings abound everywhere, from north to south or from east to west.
