HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL
Congratulations to the reflection hunters contest reaching week 200. many thanks to the Shadow Hunters community for all their efforts to get this far. a special thanks to @annephilbrick who started the contest and to @olgavita for taking over and keeping it running so well. it's has been a pleasure to have been with this contest from the beginning.
for this jubilee i am posting a few reflections from the rocks and pools at Rakke on the coast of Norway. i took all these shots in November with my S22 phone. it's a great place and the conditions were just right for reflection shots
nature as art
it may look like the lighthouse is on the mainland but it is actually more than 1 km away on the island off the coast. the rocks just line up if you have the camera at the right height. there's not much reflection of the rocks but the water reflects the sky so nicely and adds a lot to complete the image. almost like a bass line in a piece of music.
there are lots of opportunities for interesting zoom shots with no sky, just rock and water
even though these photos are all taken close to noon the November sun is so low that there is plenty of shadow on the amazing naturally carved rock.
let's all help keep this contest going another 100
