So it's the season indeed! We can already hear firecrackers being set off across the street. Unfortunately, it upsets my Lil Yongi he kept barking last night until the loud popping and banging sounds stopped. I thought it was too early for the neighbors to play but then again, maybe it's how they roll here in DD so I imagined it will be even louder on New Year's Eve.
Anyhow, we went to the nearby store yesterday late afternoon for some condiments when while leaving, the shadows of this aloe vera plant came to my attention. I could not however make it too obvious that I was taking its photo because there were other people around so as usual, phone unlocked, tapped cam and clicked! I pretended I was just texting, haha!
Seconds later, my head (well, half body) was on the wall too! Of course, these were captured discreetly or people would wonder why I was taking pictures of the wall, lol! Aah, sometimes I overthink! For all I know, nobody really cared, lol!
And another shot.
But oh my! This made me almost roll in laughter. I could not admit my neck looked like that🤣 But wait! At a glance, it appears like a clenched fist with a short and stout (distorted) thumb up.😅
Meanwhile, the succeeding random shadow pics were taken during the drive to and from the other town last weekend.
On our way home, I noticed some shadows on the road. I requested the hubby to slow down a bit so I could snap some pics but he wasn't listening😂
This on the other hand was when we visited the greenhouse two weeks ago. I thought the shadows of the trike and its passengers were quite cool. I managed to take two (blurry) shots but the other was NSFW as the other guy's arse was on display, lol!
And with that, I conclude my participation in Round 353 of the SMASh challenge by Melinda. It's been fun!
Thank you and have a glorious weekend! Until our next hunt!
