Magandang buhay!
Christmas Day went swiftly like it was in a hurry😅
Well, that's what I felt anyway when we went for a ride yesterday. After the celebration at my parents' house on Christmas Eve, my sister suggested we go on a random trip to unwind a bit before she returned to work today (the 26th). And so at 10 am, we drove away toward the Ilocos. The region has become one of our favorite destinations as it is not so far away from home and it's warmer.
While headed to the resort late mid-afternoon (4 pm), I noticed some nice reflections on the rice fields along the way and took various snaps while the car was speeding. Let me share some today in participation in Olgavita's Reflection Hunting challenge, Round 199.
Fields of any kind always fascinate me and I can't get enough of them each time we take a trip to the lowlands. They are breathtaking and that is why they are one of my most photographed sceneries whenever we are down there.
Anyway, these were taken while we were approaching the flat terrain along Comillas North. Mister Sun was nowhere to be seen so the sky looked a bit gray on the reflections.
These were only seconds apart I had to tap the capture button steadily just to take as many as I could. Meanwhile, the hubby kept accelerating like he was trying to catch a culprit or anything, lol! Thankfully, there were a few decent shots.
With the swift tapping and time to view things, I didn't realize a man was on the field when I took the photo below. Unfortunately, his reflection didn't appear in the water. Thankfully, his shack is on plus the mountains among other things.
I wished the sun was bright and the reflections would be colorful.
And that's just it for the day. Thank you and until our next hunt. Have a fantabulous day!
