I mentioned yesterday that we were in the other town on Friday. We stayed at my parents' place all morning and after enjoying lunch, we left to check on my father-in-law too. Unfortunately, he was not around when we arrived so we stayed in the car as the husband checked on Mr. B some 500 yards away.
There was no mobile reception in that area so there was not much to do. My initial thought was to take Yongi for a run along the road but the grey skies made me change my mind.
As I reclined my seat thinking about a nap, the reflections on the rearview mirror caught my eyes and awakened my spirit. Without wasting a second, I got out with the phone in hand. The trees were mirrored not only on the glass windows but also in the car's body.
I simply couldn't get enough and took several plenty shots, making it difficult to choose which to include in today's post. I spent a good amount of time picking these and nearly uploaded a gazillion ton of them, lol!
Anyway, the tall trees look imposing, and even in their reflections, they make me feel so tiny.
And aha! The Lil Guy was peeking. He must like to be included in the day's snaps so why not? He was even sticking his tongue out (check the first image in this post where it looked like he was teasing me, lol!)😅
He moved quickly and disappeared from the view but I'm glad to have gotten these before he did. The photos below were just 6 seconds apart.
Sometime during the photo session, someone arrived, parked behind the car then left, giving me a moment to take a photo of the mirrored tree branches on his bike. I did look around first making sure no one was watching, lol! The reflection isn't clear thought but has to be included as it's part of the story😅
The hubby came back and it was time to leave.
I couldn't stop snapping this view as we ascended the village road toward the town's main street. This is one of my favorite landscapes (when coming from or going to) my in-laws. The urge to explore those places in the farthest distance usually comes alive whenever I turn and see them.
One day, we shall traverse the roads that lead to them, but until then, we will continue to check out and adventure into the other places nearby.
Thank you and here's to wishing you all a terrific Sunday.
