Entry for the Shadow Contest/SMASh Week 205

This is my entry for the Shadow Contest/SMASh Week 205. I took this photo of myself when I worked on the beach. I was a surf photographer and waiting for my clients but really liked the composition of my shadow in this picture. The two lines on the side of me are palm trees. I love that there is a rainbow over Diamond Head in the top right corner.

Nice entry, but I would like to give you some advice. Recently we noticed you used the tag cinetv on a totally unrelated picture in your post. And now I bump on this entry in another community and notice you have added another totally unrelated tag, oneup.

Please first go and check where a tag is used for, and to what community it belongs to avoid getting downvoted for your content. If you don't have a related tag, better just leave it open instead of just copying tags you see in other posts. I hope you take this advice to heart as I predict you will get downvoted soon otherwise. Which would be a shame.

Hey Jess, very nice shadowy entry to the Shadow Hunters Contest! I checked your profile, and you have a talent! But like mentioned before, be careful with using tags that have no relation to your content. There are much better tags to use for your content, like: #liketu, #photography, #phototalent, #creativecoin, #neoxian, #ocd, #photographylovers, #photocirkle, #gems, #vyb, and I guess there are more tags that fit. Like the ones you used.

archon, ocd, neoxian, proofofbrain, vyb and gems are general tags. But oneup is a tag from a gaming-/nft communty. cinetv is a tag for a community related to movies and television.

(Hive can be very confusing with all the different communities and tags, right?)

That's completely understandable. I figured that you didn't know, so that's why I thought it was better to clear it up for you. Instead of only saying that it is not the right tag. I'm sure that you will receive more love on your posts when you use tags, and post in communities related to photography. You have some awesome photos.
