Today, I captured a photo of my reflection while observing the Big City, a place I don't typically visit. Being away from my home and smaller hometown, I still find it challenging to adapt to the fast-paced environment of big cities.
With big buildings and busy roads, there is often so much traffic that sometimes it makes me want to go home. However, part of my work involves traveling to different places to attend meetings, trainings, and seminars. On the other hand, I am also privileged to travel anywhere, meet new people, see new things and places, and most importantly, learn from my experiences. Additionally, free travel is also a perk of my job.
From where I stay, all I can see are buildings. On the way to my hometown, I can still see the mountain, especially Mt. Apo. But here, all I see are huge buildings. Sometimes it's scary and hard to imagine living in such a big place. I'm not used to heavy traffic, speaking different languages, and crowded areas. But for others, they dream of living in big cities. As for me, I prefer living in a simple hometown where I can easily go to the forest or beaches, buy affordable food like vegetables and fruits, and live a simple life.
