Smash 324 entry
Hello it's very exciting to share with you the shadows I've hunted for this contest!
Photos were taken last week when my husband was away for work and I had to take my son to Nanay's place before going to work every day.
So every morning when hubby was not around, I wake up at my alarm, get up, cook breakfast and prepare for work. My daughters goes with my mum to her farm, my son loves to come with them too but there is no assurance that my nephew takes them hoe in the afternoon so I took my son to his Nanay, my husband's mother.
The minimum fare for hiring a motorcycle here in our place is 20 pesos and to save money, I planned to take him. To Nanay's house then I'd walk from her home towards the main road to board on a jeep or bus towards work. And so I did! And I am very happy of my decision because I got to snap sharp shadows from the objects around as I walk past them.
I walked past on the boarding houses that were not there five years ago, the surviving plants, and the well watered purple flowers too. I also snapped on the clouds and the sky which is very bright at that time.
Then to hide from sun's scorching heat while waiting for the bus to arrive, I hid under the shelter of a huge shadow emmited by a manufacturing company's water tank and fence.(my entry)
What's lovely about the shadows is that they don't only complete or alter the object's shape beyond imagination but provide shelter as well.
Horray to shadow hunting!
