Reflection Hunters Contest Round 174
This morning I went to my mother's apartment who needed my help to buy some items that she commonly uses in her horticulture and gardening classes and practices.
As I usually do every day when I leave home, I look for objects, scenarios or situations to photograph, and evidently the apartment or the building where my mother lives is no exception, so while she made a list of the things she needed, I went around the kitchen, the living room and the balcony looking for shadows, reflections or any curiosity that caught my attention.
I prefer the reflections that are formed on polished surfaces more than on the mirrors themselves, however, the former are conditioned to the lighting conditions of the environment, and can vary with the passing of the hours or the existing weather conditions, unlike the mirrors that always offer a reflection regardless of what is happening around them.
On this occasion, I present several images of the findings I found in my mother's apartment, in which it is possible to observe the reflection formed on different surfaces.
As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.
Esta mañana fuí al apartamento de mi madre quien necesitaba de mi ayuda para comprar algunos artículos que comúnmente utiliza en sus clases y prácticas de horticultura y jardinería.
Como acostumbro cada día al salir de casa, busco objetos, escenarios o situaciones que fotografiar, y evidentemente el apartamento o el edificio donde vive mi madre no es la excepción, así que mientras ella elaboraba una lista de las cosas que necesitaba, yo recorría la cocina, la sala y el balcón buscando sombras, reflejos o cualquier curiosidad que captara mi atención.
Prefiero los reflejos que se forman en superficies pulidas más que en los propios espejos, sin embargo, los primeros están condicionados a las condiciones de iluminación del entorno, pudiendo variar con el transcurso de las horas o de las condiciones climáticas existentes, a diferencia de los espejos que siempre ofrecen un reflejo independientemente de lo que suceda a su alrededor.
En esta ocasión, presento varias imágenes de los hallazgos que encontré en el apartamento de mi madre, en los que es posible observar el reflejo formado en diferentes superficies.
Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
