Shadow Hunters Community Contest SMASh - Round 330
It is incredible how fast this year 2024 is passing, at least that is the perception I have in relation to previous years that seemed to advance at the same speed of a turtle, and we are already halfway through the month of July, and with this, a new challenge of the Shadow Hunters Community.
In the last few days, I've been looking for shadows to photograph, unfortunately the predominance of cloudy skies doesn't help much, and when they clear, I can't find something that captures my attention enough to capture it in an image.
For these reasons, today I decided to experiment a bit with a glass bottle that I have as a decorative object in my kitchen, and take it to a clear place on the first floor of the building, and photograph the shadow cast by the passage of sunlight through the bottle on the concrete floor, generating a curious and attractive pattern.
As I have described in previous posts, I usually make use of the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed, with the aim of improving or highlighting some element of my images.
Es increíble lo rápido que está pasando este año 2024, al menos es la percepción que tengo en relación a años anteriores que parecían avanzar a la misma velocidad de una tortuga, y ya nos encontramos a mitad del mes de Julio, y con esto, un nuevo desafío del Shadow Hunters Community.
En estos últimos días, he buscado sombras que fotografiar, lamentablemente el predominio de cielos nublados no ayuda mucho, y cuando estos se despejan, no encuentro algo que logre captar lo suficientemente mi atención para atraparlo en una imagen.
Por estas razones, hoy decidí experimentar un poco con una botella de vidrio que tengo como objeto decorativo en mi cocina, y llevarlo hasta un lugar despejado en la planta baja del edificio, y fotografiar la sombra que proyecta el paso de la luz del sol a través de la botella sobre el piso de concreto, generando un curioso y atractivo patrón.
Como he descrito en posts anteriores, usualmente hago uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed, con el objetivo de mejorar o destacar algún elemento de mis imágenes.
