It's time once again for the Shadow Hunters Contest also known as the SMaSH contest (acronym credit @gems.and.cookies!)
My entry photograph was taken upon checking in to the hotel room we stayed in while vacationing in New York City during my son's Spring break back in 2014.
The irony of photographing the perfectly made king size bed is that New York City is known as the city that never sleeps and I questioned how much sleep any of us would get in a city that was open 24/7.
The answer to the question was "not much!"
The image was edited to black and white in order to emphasize and highlight the many shadows being cast by the sun shining through sheer curtains onto the hotel room.
