The fan blades flew overhead
With a steady rotation
Preventing the camera from capturing their shadows
But, as electric current was cut
They came to a halt
Having lost kinetic energy
The camera then captured their shadows
Which were elusive while on motion
But now got caught while at rest
Invoking the old adage -
"A rolling stone gathers no moss."
Sounding like,
"A flying blade gathers no shadow.
