I gave music and visual identity to one of my writings I did in 2023. During that August I wrote a small allusion to fear, to how we react to the most chaotic situations with a lying smile.
It's called "A veces río cuando tengo mucho miedo" and I think it's something that has happened to all of us, that nervous laughter that the organism has when it doesn't know what to say or how to act.
There is something of bravery, I recognize it, when our organism protects itself with a grimace that is, in reality, out of its true reach and does so under the pretext of shielding itself from the unknown.
The fear fizzes and laughter usurps its place so that we do not look cowardly or ignorant of what we should feel in the face of terror and how we can flee from the adrenaline.
Terror drives us, yes, imagination can tie a rope around our necks and suffocate us without even happening and that is when the wild beasts in your mind can unleash chaos.
I imagined just the asphyxiating hypothesis of this fear with scenes of a body that seems to stagger before the discomfort of space.
I recommend that you use headphones to enjoy this little piece of literature about our fear much more.
I hope you enjoy it.
