Good morning buzzers! Let's round off 2023 with a bang! We're going to recap this year of burns and growth for the @slothburn account, slothly but surely taking Hive and Hive-engine tokens where no sloth has taken them before!
We're buzzing about how this year has turned out, as we sloth through the daily grind and make a buzz as we go! 2024 is looking like a big year for crypto and we hope the sloths can buzz their way to success! With that in mind, let's see how we've performed this year and set some goals for the year ahead!

SlothBuzz token and burning
SlothBuzz is more than a token, it's a Website, Hive community, Hive Witness and Hive future Builder!.
SlothBuzz token has a total supply of 420 Million tokens, a fair-sized supply, however, only around 11,500 are in circulation currently! Combining this with the low inflation rate of 6.9 minted tokens daily, Slothbuzz is in a great position to buzz into the future! Albeit, at a sloth's pace for now!
SlothBurn utilises the awesome tool from he.dtools, the Hive richlist for SLOTHBUZZ token. By taking the balance of @null we're able to see which tokens are no longer circulating. The Null account is Hive's burn address, taking tokens out of circulation.
The sloth growth of SlothBuzz on Hive is already happening. The 'base price' for the buyback on the token (SlothBuzz Tribaldex) has risen from 1 Hive to 1.13 Hive, we'll continue to raise this and burn the tokens we manage to buy back. There's never been a better time to utilise the sloth.buzz site and #slothbuzz tag to earn slothbuzz through creating content and curating other awesome buzzers as they continue their slothly journey through Hive!
Total SlothBuzz burnt so far
By creating 'burn' posts, which burn Hive author rewards, and by directly sending SlothBuzz tokens to @null, we've managed to burn 602 tokens! Removing this from the 'total' circulating supply of 12,150 we can say we've burnt almost 5% of the tokens! This is around 0.00014% of the total supply, with only 0.002% of the tokens minted! Which leaves us with 11,548 currently circulating.

Richlist - @Null (Hives burn address)
We also use tags such as THGaming, PIMP, MEME, LOLZ, POB which will also help burn their tokens, Hive-Richist can also show the Null/Burnt balances of those tokens, let's see how much they've burnt in total!
