From Bunga Terkahir" I learned how the most important thing is to love yourself and never depend on other people for your happiness. Because we are the determinants of our own happiness. We are special and deserve to be happy.
A few days ago I received a package of a book entitled “The Last Flower”. This book is a novel by my friend, a fellow Indonesian migrant worker in Taiwan. Her name is Nunu Danu. This book with a combination of black and dark blue with a picture of a woman carrying flowers contains the author's life story in love.
In the book, the writer who comes from West Java tells how he was trapped in the world of his inner child until he became depressed and almost committed suicide. Especially when the household with her husband was destroyed, she was at a low point and almost gave up.
In the book, the writer who comes from West Java tells how he was trapped in the world of his inner child until he became depressed and almost committed suicide.
Asoka, who is described as a character from the novel, is a shy, quiet and insecure figure. He became a victim of the environment who took advantage of his innocence, such as many friends or relatives who borrowed money from her, knowing that Ashoka had a high salary as an Indonesian migrant worker in Taiwan.
However, when the time comes back they don't return it right away, because they know Ashoka doesn't have the courage to collect the money. She didn't even dare to ask for her personal rights, the woman who worked as a carer for the parents. So that he becomes a "People Pleasure" who is always used by others.
Marriage which was originally for Soka was worship, it actually led him to the gate of deep suffering. Because it turns out that the husband is secretly having an affair with many women, even sleeping with his mistress when Ashoka is not on vacation with her husband. To make the woman unable to maintain and choose a divorce.
So, in this book I learned how the most important thing is to love yourself and never depend on other people for your happiness. Because we are the determinants of our own happiness. We are special and deserve to be happy.
