Stephen King - Carrie
Stephen King es el Rey del terror y sus historias son realmente buenas para disfrutar en esta época del año, en especial "Carrie" que es mi favorita de sus historias ya que la historia de Carrie White, una chica que es constantemente abusada en su escuela, que vive con una madre loca fanática religiosa, y que descubre que posee poderes telequinéticos los cuales usa para vengarse de todos en su escuela luego de sufrir una broma bastante horrible cuando fue coronada reina del baile es bastante escalofriante. Como es bien sabido, Stephen escribe de una increíble manera y sus historias atrapan desde el principio, obviamente esta no es la excepción ya que la historia y los personajes están muy bien desarrollados por lo que es imposible no engancharse desde el principio así que si de un libro de ficción con un toque perfecto de suspenso y terror se trata, en mi opinión este se lleva el premio mayor.

As is well known, Stephen writes in an incredible way and his stories captivate from the beginning, obviously this is no exception because the story and the characters are very well developed so it's impossible not to get hooked from the beginning so if you This is a fiction book with a perfect touch of suspense and horror, in my opinion this one takes the biggest prize.
🎃William Peter Blatty - El Exorcista / The Exorcist🎃
Todos los que hemos visto la película sabemos lo escalofriante que es, y en mi opinión el libro es todavía mejor ya que de verdad está bien escrito y a pesar de que a veces se vuelve bastante lento logra sacarme unos cuantos sustos a medida que avanzo en mi lectura. Los personajes están bastante bien desarrollados y diría que aquí en el libro Regan me da mucho más miedo cuando está poseída ya que aunque cuando lo leí me venía a la mente la película creo que leer todo causa más escalofríos. Creo que este es el primer libro de posesiones que leo y de verdad me gustó bastante, me parece que es de las mejores novelas de terror así que realmente es infaltable para esta temporada de espanto y brinco.
All of us who have seen the movie know how chilling it is, and in my opinion the book is even better because it's really well written and even though at times it gets quite slow it manages to give me a few scares as I progress reading. The characters are quite well developed and I would say that here in the book Regan scares me much more when she is possessed because although when I read it the movie came to mind I think reading everything causes more chills. I think this is the first possessions book I have read and I really liked it a lot, I think it's one of the best horror novels so it really is a must for this season of fear and jump.
🎃Washington Irving - La Leyenda de Sleepy Hollow / The Legend of Sleepy Hollow🎃
Esta es una novela que me ha gustado desde pequeña, aunque es un relato corto me causa escalofríos. Este historia acerca de Ichabod Crane, Katrina Van Tassel y un jinete sin cabeza que aparece para robarse las cabezas de sus víctimas realmente es un buen relato para Halloween, y la primera vez que lo leí siendo niña realmente me gustó mucho. Me agrada mucho la narrativa de la historia la cual me resulta enganchante y también la evolución de los personajes, aunque es una novela clásica envejece bastante bien y si es de su gusto leer una novela corta en esta época, en mi opinión esta es de las mejores.
This is a novel that I have liked since I was little, although it is a short story it gives me chills. This story about Ichabod Crane, Katrina Van Tassel, and a headless horseman who appears to steal the heads of his victims really makes a good Halloween story, and the first time I read it as a kid I really liked it. I really like the narrative of the story which I find engaging and also the evolution of the characters, although it is a classic novel it ages quite well and if you like reading a short novel at this time, in my opinion this is one of the best ones.
Octubre es un mes en el que nos gusta mucho sumergirnos en historias de miedo, y a mi en particular me encanta leerlas, en especial estos libros los cuales me parecen que son excelentes y quiero recomendarlos a todos los lectores amantes del terror que todavía no los conozcan, les aseguro que la pasarán genial leyéndolos.
October is a month in which we really like to immerse ourselves in scary stories, and I in particular love to read them, especially these books which I think are excellent and I want to recommend them to all horror-loving readers who don't yet know them, I assure you that you will have a great time reading them.
