I can't remember what exactly led me to her page but I bless the day I found her... It was the wee hours of the morning, I remember it being pitch black outside as it was a moonless night. I couldn't sleep for some reason so I did the next best thing, I went hive exploring.
It was during my earlier months on the blockchain and everything was still a bit strange. I let my phone with the help of my eyes and fingers take me on a journey through the endless pages of hive. I came across many articles which led me to different accounts but none of them I can remember except hers...
Her first article I discovered, I read every word. More than once I think after which I left a long-ass comment telling her how her words have changed my life. A slight exaggeration lol but I was touched to that extent and I just had to say/type something to let her know the effect her post had on me.
After that, like every curious being, I visited her profile and read a good number of her articles and I was as impressed as I was with the first one. I didn't leave any other comments though because it would've been a lot and I didn't want to come off as a stalker even though that was exactly what I was doing...stalking.
I half expected my comment to pitifully sit there without a reply so you can understand how delighted I was when she left an equally heartfelt reply and followed me shortly after. I was so excited that I flooded a very special person's DM with rants about how I just discovered the most amazing person on hive and that was before she followed me so you can imagine what happened after that.
My fondness has grown over time. I think she has an idea but these confessions will probably shock her to the bones lol. I don't mind being exposed though because I really do think she is amazing and she knows she is too which is one of the things I like about her.
On the topic of things I like about her...here's a list;
- her username is very unique and it makes you curious about what inspired it. At least that's how I feel about it.
- she writes exactly what she wants to write and she isn't scared to say how she feels about something despite what anyone may think.
- she has a very progressive take on life and I think the world would be a much better place if we had more people like her.
- she is beautiful and her posts reflect her equally beautiful soul.
- she describes herself as a nomad that can't be held down by anything I can't remember her exact words but this sounds about right. I think this is really cool.
- she is a fellow aquarian and her existence further proves that we are the coolest people alive.
There's more lol but these will have to do.
Now for the big reveal (cue drum roll)...The award of Kamara's favourite hive author goes to the one and only @atyourservice. She's literally the only one that has anything remotely close to this username on hive and this speaks volumes. Now you probably understand why I described her username the way I did. She is a lifestyle blogger and writes about a bunch of interesting stuff.
