¡Hola a todos los amantes de la lectura y bienvenidos a mi blog! En esta ocasión quiero compartir con ustedes mi opinión sobre el último libro que he leído, "Punk57" de Penelope Douglas. Como fanática de los libros, siempre estoy buscando nuevas historias que me atrapen y este libro lo logró sin duda alguna. Tenía bastante tiempo sin subir una reseña, no encontraba un libro que me enganchara pero hace dos días comencé a leer este libro y aunque al comienzo fue un poco lento luego se fue poniendo más emocionante y no pude dejar de leerlo hasta terminarlo. No había leído nada de la autora antes pero me pareció que su forma de narrar la historia de género romance juvenil fue un poco cliché aunque tuvo muchas cosas buenas en las que pude reflexionar a través de los personajes y que me dejaron varias lecciones de vida.

I hadn't uploaded a review for quite some time, I couldn't find a book that hooked me but two days ago I started reading this book and although it was a little slow at the beginning then it got more exciting and I couldn't stop reading it until I finished it. I hadn't read anything by the author before but I found her way of narrating the young romance genre story a bit cliché although it had a lot of good things that I could reflect on through the characters and that left me with several life lessons.

Desde la primera página, la autora transporta al lector a un mundo lleno de personajes fascinantes y situaciones inesperadas. La trama es adictiva y no podrás soltar el libro hasta llegar al final. ¿Que pasaría si conoces a una persona solo por correos y hacen la promesa de no verse jamás ni dejar de escribirse? ¿Hasta donde llegaría el momento en el que se den cuenta de que las cosas no funcionarían solo por mensajes escritos en cartas? En este post les hablaré de este libro que está siendo muy popular en los últimos años, de hecho lo descubrí como en el 2016 porque me llamó la atención la portada del libro y también la trama.

In this post I will tell you about this book that is being very popular in the last few years, in fact I discovered it like in 2016 because the cover of the book caught my attention and also the plot.
En cuanto a la trama, "Punk57" es un romance juvenil que narra la historia de Misha y Ryen, dos adolescentes que se conocen debido a un error en sus colegios dónde en una asignatura el profesor decide colocar a cada alumno junto a otros alumnos de otro colegio para hacer un trabajo que fuera enviándose cartas pero la condición era que los estudiantes fueran del mismo sexo y cómo los nombres de nuestros protagonistas Micha y Ryen podrían ser de chicas entonces el profesor decidió ponerlos juntos y desde allí comenzaron a enviarse correos escritos a mano. Todo se complica cuando ocurren varios sucesos dónde Misha deja de escribirle a Ryen y esta piensa que algo malo le debió haber ocurrido porque nunca durante siete años habían parado de enviarse cartas.

The chemistry between the main characters is palpable from the beginning and it is impossible not to be moved by their struggle to be together despite all the obstacles they face. It is a book full of passion, love and also pain, which makes it a complete and emotionally intense read.
Penelope Douglas ha logrado posicionarse como una de las escritoras más destacadas dentro del género romántico juvenil. Sus libros destacan por tener personajes bien desarrollados, tramas interesantes y una narrativa cautivadora. "Punk57" no es la excepción, es una muestra del talento de esta autora para escribir historias adictivas que mantienen al lector atrapado desde la primera hasta la última página. Aunque es una historia juvenil, recomiendo que lo lean personas mayores de 15 años ya que contiene escenas y lenguajes vulgares. Esta historia puede ser bastante cliché pero de qué te engancha lo hace, lo que más me gustó de la historia es la forma en que la escritora muestra las emociones de los personajes y también el toque de emoción y misterio que agrega hasta llegar al final de la historia que por cierto este libro tiene varias cositas que casi al llegar al final no te lo esperas pero creo que eso hizo que me gustara aún más.
Penelope Douglas has managed to position herself as one of the most outstanding writers in the young adult romance genre. Her books stand out for having well-developed characters, interesting plots and a captivating narrative. "Punk57" is no exception, it is a sample of this author's talent for writing addictive stories that keep the reader gripped from the first page to the last. Although it is a juvenile story, I recommend that people over 15 read it as it contains vulgar scenes and language. What I liked most about the story is the way the writer shows the emotions of the characters and also the touch of emotion and mystery that she adds until the end of the story, which by the way this book has several little things that almost at the end you don't expect but I think that made me like it even more.

Y que las personas somos imperfectas, todos cometemos errores pero está en nosotros saber cómo podemos mejorar como personas y seguir adelante.
Some of the reflections that this book left me with is that lies have short legs, no matter how much you try to evade or hide your true self, the truth always comes to light and even if it hurts it is better to know it. Also that we should always be ourselves and not seek the approval of others just to fit into a group, self-love is essential to have the strength to follow your heart no matter what may happen. And that people are imperfect, we all make mistakes but it is in us to know how we can improve as people and move forward.
