If you're into romance and suspense as much as I am, then you should know Colleen Hoover. She's an amazing author that knows how to put a grip on her readers. I mean you can't read Hoover's work and then your imaginative mindset isn't wildly activated. Haha.

So, yall, I don't think I'm going to be doing the spoiler thing today because I want you, yes you reading this right now to get this book and enjoy the ride. My heart was literally racing as I read this one. I was terrified in between, it felt like watching a horror film that slightly featured romance in it. I loved it, and you will too.

Let me just give a brief review of the book, you'd get the rest of the information yourself by reading it. If you're a real bibliophile, you'd not want to encounter the spoiler alert. It's a turn off right? I mean we want to read these books and find out what happened in the end, uncover the sweet secrets ourselves and have our heart race where necessary or even shut the book when we're annoyed about a scene. These are what I feel when I read a book anyways.

Onto the review, here you have it:

it begins with a thriller

"Verity" by Colleen Hoover is a gripping and intense romantic thriller that keeps readers on the edge of their seats from start to finish. The story follows Lowen Ashleigh, a struggling writer who is hired to anonymously finish a series of novels started by the famous author, Verity Crawford, after Verity is incapacitated. As Lowen delves into Verity's unfinished manuscript, she uncovers dark secrets about Verity's life and the Crawford family. This part got me screaming, especially because I was reading it at night. I'm not so good with horror but when I encounter them in books, I just want to go on and on.

The book masterfully combines elements of romance, suspense, and psychological drama. It explores themes of love, obsession, and the blurred lines between reality and fiction. Colleen Hoover's writing is very engaging, and she creates well developed, complex characters that pull readers in.

"Verity" is known for its shocking twists and turns, as well as its steamy and intense romantic scenes. (To all my romance-in-between lovers, here you go🤭). I love a book that's not just straight horror yuuno, it's okay when everything is balanced. Gimme a mix of love, suspense and horror and I'd gladly worship at your feet. Trust me, this book is one that leaves readers questioning the motives and truths of the characters until the very end.

I told you, I wasn't going to be giving you the spoiler today, go read this one and come back to my comments section let's talk about it. Trust Hoover, her books are always worth the read. And, if you've read it, please let's talk about your feelings too. Were you terrified? Or are you the daring type and cannot be shook when confronted with horrific scenes? I want to read your opinions and criticisms.

To crown this, in my honest opinion, "Verity" is a rollercoaster of emotions, a page turner that will keep you guessing, and a story that lingers in your mind long after you've finished reading it. It's a must-read for fans of romantic suspense and psychological thrillers.
